I would trust and go with my gut when it came to men. I would have avoided a long-term relationship that wasn't good for my soul or long-term goals, and I wouldn't have lied to myself so much about what I really wanted out of life. I wouldn't have settled for less. I also would have saved more money, drank and partied less, not used online dating, and pursued my hobbies and interests more. I think a lot of my drinking and partying behaviour was to sort of escape a crappy home situation that I fe…

I drink once a week, and just made the decision to cut it out altogether for now. Not worth the money spent, lower quality sleep/craving trash food the next day/extra calories etc.

Gross. I've never heard of The Game, but I can just imagine from the title and the company he keeps. Barf.

I remember reading about it in his autobiography in 2005 or 2006 when I still thought he was someone I should admire. It's horrific.

The Long Hard Road out of Hell? So disturbing.

I am so grossed out by how much I used to admire him as a younger woman. Never again.

I'm curious about this Valentine's Day, because I'm in a different country than my home country; here, Feb 14th is for the man, and March 14th is for the woman. According to what I've read, I'm supposed to get him chocolate on Feb 14, and then he is supposed to totally blow me away on March 14th. I'm sure if I told him I really wanted something on Feb 14th (the traditional day for me, at least), he would do something.

I'm actually curious about something - what's the FDS stance on swearing/swear words? LVM trait? My current boyfriend never swears, which is something I've never experienced. He's very calm and collected all the time, something that is also new to me in a relationship. I also used to swear quite often. Now, I've found that I use those words much more rarely.

I live overseas and was amazed (but not surprised) at how blatant this attitude was (it is immediately apparent by seeing my picture that I am a foreigner in this country, and they'd assume I'm from a Western country, which I am), when I had stints of OLD. Literally the first questions would be "do you live alone?" "Do you like sex?" "Can i come over right now?" "Western women like sex, right?" Bye boy 👋

Omg, the truth here. I am dating an Asian man now, and he is always impeccably dressed and groomed. Even when he is dressed for comfort, he looks so great. My last boyfriend wore shirts with rips in the armpit and holey Converse. The difference is night and day and I cant believe I was ever okay with the latter.

If I can ever even get even a quarter of AOC's poise and delivery, I'll die a happy woman.

Oh my fuck this reminds me of a line I got the other day. The dude did nothing but comment on my appearance, and when we finally started talking about books, I thought maybe we'd turned a corner? Anyway, he asks what kind of books I like to read, I tell him, and all he's got in response is "I bet you look real cute reading." Like fuck off.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
