Implanon and Norplant have well-known massive side-effects, especially when removed prematurely, which is something that is supposed to be possible. Just from people I know: One lost her vision almost completely for several months and is now totally unable to have children or a regular cycle. One gained 120+ lbs in about a year. I could probably go through the entire list of American Presidents, most Congressman men and other sets of individuals and find similar comments. Saying that something is evil and will result in bad shit isn't a call to violence. He literally believes abortion to be violent (it is, really) and is very against that.
