Why, I did have a vasectomy years ago. I don't know of any of my group that's dated a single mom that has ever had to play babysitter. Personally, I've only seen it go the other way. One of my divorced dad friends has had his girlfriend play babysitter while he came to our poker game. You should stay away from the child. Not a white knight. I'm just not lonely and bitter. And honestly, if you're an older guy that's actively dating, you're going to have single moms in your dating pool. Some are good with their shit together and some are train wrecks. Even the train wrecks can be fun for a date or two.

I divorced after 16 years. Dating in my mid 40s, most women had children. I remarried a single mom. I have a great step kid. It's a lot more responsibility, but single moms can be pretty awesome
