I'm not sure I understood your first sentence. I don't think I was advocating for clairvoyant skateboards. What could he have done? Done what all of us do every day. Observed that there was a young child who was near his intended route and apparently without a supervisor and given the child a very wide birth or picked another route. While he was on his route, he should have kept an eye on the child and adjusted accordingly. Simple. If a young child is playing on a road, every responsible driver …

My point was more that the situation is preventable by both parties. The parent should have been paying attention, but so should the skater. The parent is completely in the wrong, but I think that the skater occupies a middle area. He is an adult and is responsible for his actions if he hits someone. Even though it was an accident, he played his part in it. Honestly something about this video seems off. It seems a little set up don't you think?

That is a really fascinating story. I honestly wasn't expecting this little comment to be particularly controversial. With the greatest of respect, I think perhaps you misunderstood my point. Is it unreasonable to think that someone skating should look where they are going? Is it reasonable that the skater (as an adult) should be responsible for themselves if they hit someone? Just a small point, but I don't think the skater was a wholly innocent party. He ran in to the kid when he should have been looking where he was going. That does not excuse her actions obviously. At least it was all on film. Might also be set up? Just a thought.

I think it can be argued that the meaning of the word "bitch" changes depending on which sex it is aimed at. "That woman is a bitch" "That guy couldn't take a punch, what a little bitch" No offence hehe.
