You're not "beta." You have beta behaviors, and you have alpha behaviors. Humans are creatures of habits, and being with your toxic plate for too long made you get used to certain habits of thinking and acting. As for what to do, that's for you to decide. My advice is simply to do what you feel like doing most, and the rule of thumb is "fuck yes! or no," meaning if you can go all-in, do it, otherwise if you hesitate, find something else that you're really into. Seeing as you're pulling girls out…

It doesn't fucking matter if your boss is beta or not. He is who your company assigned to be over you, so you show him/her respect. You're not wrong. That's what I plan to do. In the post, I've mentioned I'm aware of my ego problems. What I have been doing consists of just doing the job well and stop caring about his side. He's screwed up multiple times but that shouldn't affect my own workflow or work quality, that's the point. I'm also learning to show more respect to people. I take his critic…

Nothing. It's not the "what," it's the "how." You still don't have abundance mindset if you're here asking about what specific thing you did wrong to improve. If you want the answer to that, here it is: It's because you forcefully tried to close her when it didn't feel natural to you to do so (you kind of got lost and had no idea how to take her home - this is indication that you yourself didn't feel ready) and the girl sensed that. It is that bit of hesitation. However, putting all that aside, …

Good reminder, thanks. However you should perhaps read the post before commenting: I didn't ask for an advice on how to deal with my boss, I asked for your experience in in dealing with it if you have been in similar situations.

They're always doing that, however it should more appropriately be called a "social game" rather than a "test." Nobody is going out of their ways to test your skills when it comes to "saying the right things." There's never a right thing to say anyway, and all people - including girls - naturally don't look for that, they look for smart, funny ways of delivering whatever you want to say. Think fun. If you're humoring yourself, chances are you're humoring other people too. If you enjoy the intera…

Practice. The fact that you are here asking questions shows that you are seeing conversations as something challenging (believe me, we all know how it feels) and using "learning about things online" as a substitute to actual experience. Let me tell you, experience teaches best, and the anxiety you have, or the imagined fear of the thing you make up in your head, is always much worse than the thing itself. You can try this method of taking small steps to get rid of the fear first. Don't take in m…

It is. Zen is simply the awareness of reality and being able to live in the moment. TRP's philosophy might be specialized in sexual dynamics but it's ultimately also a guide to reality. They're all parts of the whole that makes up reality, and we're all here to learn to live fully in it.

The manosphere sometimes makes it look like shit tests are all mean jokes that can be easily defeated with a witty comeback. But sometimes women will shit test you by demanding you quit your job or break up with your best friend or she will divorce you. Another thing I will add is that, the word choice to call it "shit test" isn't the most correct and tends to give the wrong impression. A shit test, by nature, is a fitness test. Every interaction where a woman is testing a man, she's either test…

having the thought in your mind constantly and really wishing for it sometimes deep down can be agony. Practice meditation. Wandering thoughts are like ghosts, you can't fight them, and they only scare you if you pay attention to them. Sit back, observe it and let it go. Focus on the moment. Listen to how you feel, and just relax. We've all been there man. You'll do fine.

I'm beginning to think that most self-diagnosed autists aren't actually autistic, or more correctly put asperger's actually means something different from what we've always thought it was. Most self-identified aspies were just so socially beaten and crippled and their social right brain just never had the chance to fully grow, and they relied too much on their logical left brain to cope. The interesting thing is, the brain can be rewired, just like how an addict can recover from his addiction. I…

Agreed. I am of the opinion that it's good to have morals, simply because not having them results in more demerits than benefits in the long run. On the other hand, using it to rationalize your laziness and your being afraid to step out of your boundaries is never the thing to do. It's a hard balance to find. I think the important question to answer is: Regardless of morality, do I really want it, and is it worth it?

What's the common thing between successful men? You can't imagine them at home jerking off, because that's not what they do. If you want a correlation, it's that instead of masturbating, they spend their time engaging in productive, meaningful activities. It's really that simple. However you already know that - we all already know that. I know what you're here for, what most of us are here for: seeking external validation by talking about action and getting people's approval. Understand that tal…

Struggling with this myself - however I can tell that the point of abstaining from porn and masturbation isn't "semen retention gives you energy" (that's a load of snake oil salesmen bullshit), but that you are learning discipline. Known about the Marshmallow experiment? Delayed gratification, as opposed to instant gratification, is the key to success and happiness in life. When you (or I, as I really am also speaking for myself here) watch porn and masturbate, we are really just looking for tha…

Perhaps the real implication of this rule is "Show, don't tell." You do not talk about The Red Pill. You live it, and show people that it works, and only then will you inspire confidence in people who will be actively seeking your advice. It is indeed the more difficult option of the two alternatives. Easier said than done, after all. But then again, it is exactly why demonstration works better than explication.

That is hardly the case. I was a good-looking incel myself (until pointed out as an incel, which hurt my ego and made me try out tinder dating) with zero social skills thanks to a long history of being an autistic fuck, and I still feel the pain of the blue pill idealisms hitting me in the face, all the time. Recently caught another Oneitis when I thought I almost got over the previous one, and holy fuck, it does really have to be something you have to go through. There is no shortcuts.

I understand the sentiment, I have experienced it a million times. That's how I know making too much emotional investment isn't healthy. Look, I'm not saying it's the "right" thing to do, either. However is it wrong for evil? It's indeed a cunt thing to do, but only if viewed through a blue-pilled lens in which morals and ethics actually mean anything. there's a social contract that would respect another man's place. That's the same kind of "social contract" that led these men to believe that by acting nice and polite and gentlemanly to women they're going to appear attractive. Even before TRP, sure you must have heard this phrase? "All is fair in love and war." You talk about "another man's place" but what has "another man" ever done for you? Heh, I can only relate to this too well. Too many lost chances because I was afraid I would fuck up and wanted to wait for a better occasion. Typical buffer out of cowardice. Now I realize after all that whether I did nothing or anything I was never going to keep her around forever anyway. I know it's not a big deal, and it's a bit meta but I just wanted to try posting my observation once, provide some context for some actual advice and see what I can learn from the community (so pardon the exaggeration in the tone of the post). Evolution is kind of a sadistic motherfucker, when you think about it. It is preprogrammed that men are to be hurt before they are fully men, there is no way around it. Women are simply born, men are created through pain and suffering. Sucks, but that's reality.

I get it. So basically you're telling me to change my strategy and literally just try to figure out how to get laid first. I need more experience, less theorizing. Being called an incel hurts but I am now aware that my ego problems are getting in the way of my growth. I'm not a virgin but I think I'm pretty close to an incel, if my understanding of 'incel' is correct? I honestly can't tell myself. I'm almost 25, only lost my virginity roughly 1 year ago (ONS with cute slutty 16-y-o), developed Oneitis for a new girl for 1 year until recently, trying to get over Oneitis. I like to call it "channeling the power of retrospection" and people like you dicks with a good point and yes you have a good point but you're still being a dick about it. Eww, she's like a sister to me. Well I guess this kind of thinking is feminine, too. There's new BP characteristics of me that reveal themselves every day. Just kidding, but I do find the idea that she might find me sexually attractive funny. Still won't go for her though, and if it helps me reduce my feminine behaviors then I'll meet her even less.

Thank you for your insight. I'm still rather bad at subduing the urge for constant gratification, though I've been getting better at it. I'll keep at it. I think I have an idea of what the masculine way of looking at women looks like, but it seems I am not at that stage yet. Knowing and experiencing bring different things to the table. Maybe this is less familiar to the more neurotypical people, but for someone who have spent the majority of my life sitting in front of a computer and theorizing about the world, every time I go out and give it my all I count it as a valuable learning experience. More so when I first got a girl to confess to the true nature of women directly to my ears. It's a feeling of, I have known about this all along, but now seeing and hearing i…

Thank you for being reasonable, and sorry that I overreacted a bit. I guess the idea of being made an example kind of stings a bit. It seems I still hold on to a lot of ego-investments that I wasn't even aware of myself. All valuable advices. I've only started to make more serious observations through TRP lenses recently, so I'm still struggling a lot. Are you not having a lot of success? It’s going to be a numbers game and can be frustrated. It really is. If you just want sex, then the threshold of what constitutes attractive depends entirely upon you. I don't know. Lately it feels like my standards have been gradually getting lower, and I'm starting to feel fine with it. I'm considering that if it ever comes to it, I'll hire hookers to take care of my sexual needs if I must. Which is surprising because I would never have considered this befo…

However, don't fall into the well of being a woman's emotional tampon. It's too easy to put that suit on again when you're with a woman who you do want to pickle tickle and now suddenly you accidentally friend zoned yourself. This is valuable advice. What if I told you I'm aware of my own naivety? There is a point to this kind of posts. Good advice. I'm already aware that I'll always have a sex drive to take care of, which I will take care of, so MGTOW isn't my go-to option. I'll check out that book later, right now I have too many readings to catch up to. Reading up on TRP and confirming those truths already take up a ton of my time, so the topic of marriage to one single girl will have to come later (I don't think it's much useful right now when I'm just beginning to learn how to make Game work). Both 25 this year. She's about a 6, maybe 6.5 with makeup? Never was interested in her sexually (the reason we became friends was even that: she was friends with a girl I was orbiting in high school. That I'm not afraid to admit to, it's just kind of getting on my nerves that everyone thinks I'm orbiting her). Speaking of, I only ever go for girls above 7. Do you think there's something wrong with my approach? Maybe if my SMV is currently low, I should lower my standards a bit?

Thank you, I wish more people get that these kinds of posts are useful. I liked seeing the naive RP examples where the OPs are just beginning to figure out how real life works, and I wanted to encourage more lurkers to do the same so I decided to share one crappy example of my own.

Well I guess all I gotta do is stop hanging out with her. Easy enough. The problem that you don't get is I wasn't even trying to fuck her in the first place, and I hang out with her because of benefits. But yes I guess if I value my pride on "not being a girlfriend" enough then those benefits aren't really worth it. Hm, I guess I'll just have to let it go, because somehow I like the sound of that better. Makes sense that to start becoming a man I gotta stop acting like a woman, huh?

If this serves to irritate you further, and I hope it does, I'll give you the bonus fact that I first happened upon TRP (the theory, not the subreddit) as early as 8 years ago, during high school. I'm just not very bright, I admit, that it took me this long to start taking TRP seriously, but you seem to forget that everyone grows at a different pace. This is what everyone goes through, being naive and admitting to it is also part of it.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/18 03:56 PM
2

That has no relevant to the point of this whatsoever. If the fact that I smoke weed bothers you so much that you neglect to consider any other value my story could have brought says more about you than about my story. Rather than being over dramatic about it perhaps you should have pretended it was something else, and whatever it is is simply a context for the events and observations that this story is meant to present?
/r/TheRedPill25/01/18 03:52 PM

I have zero interest in this girl sexually or romantically and I hang out with her because I see some benefits from it other than trying to shag her, which I doubt I'd even enjoy anyway. I'd listen to some of her sob stories for the company and the treats if I happen to have nothing better to do at the time.

Does the unplugging get better with practice? The short answer is yes, but it's going to take a long time and a metric ton of effort and an immense amount of pain. It took me 8 years to get over this Oneitis I had since high school, and this was after I started reading TheRationalMale. It took developing Oneitis for several more girls and a few more years of feeling suicidal before I seriously started to focus on making myself happy. That's not "kind of" Oneitis, it IS Oneitis. That's not to say I don't understand the feeling. This one girl somehow seems more special than the rest, but you, and I, gotta understand that she is only special because we like to think of her that way. This is something I have accepted but not yet internalized, and I get hurt badly every time I let the feeling escalate. I don't believe in lesbians, or at least I don't believe this girl is a lesbian. Biologically all girls are bisexual to some degree (all humans are predisposed to like females better than males, and male is the disposable gender). I was RP aware for a short while before I asked for this girl's number last year, went on a few dates and now somehow I ended in a position where I'm sort of her friend but not really, and yes with mistakes after mistakes, I essentially friendzoned myself for a whole year. I recently finally couldn't stand it and decided to call it quits with my Oneitis (this was after a rejection and my turning suicidal due to…

That last one was particularly painful to read. I can relate to it almost too well. There have been to many times where I could make a move, where I had all the opportunities in the world to make a move, and I just stood there or sat there, all paralyzed debating whether I should go for it or not, and when the moment has passed and the chance was lost, I felt instant regret, but the more shameful is that along with it I also felt a sense of relief, that it was now over and there was no opportuni…

This is my takeaway as well. Funny is that's how I even managed to lose my virginity. When I tried to talk to girls, it never worked. Hanging out with a group of guys one Christmas Eve, with the mentality that I only wanted to have fun and talk to people, and somehow I ended up taking a girl home. If only there was a way to always remember to have this kind of mindset, or to always do it without having to remind myself of it. But hey, that's what practice is for.

AWALT. Your anger is justified and understandable, but if we are being really rational, the crux of the matter is that we as men tend to fail to recognize women for what they are. They simply operate differently, and once we have accepted this fact, everything is just a matter of fact. Unicorns don't exist, so learn to be okay with it and we'll be fine.

IMO you are still stuck on what defines a real alpha. To quote Rollo Tomassi, "Alpha is as alpha does, not what we say it is." Discussing theories all you want, analyze and categorize all you want, that is not going to change. Examples are only good in the sense of providing an effective way to understand the concept behind it better, they're not guidelines for you to follow. I just feel like the advice on here sometimes is very broad, and not specific enough. You seem to be looking for some sor…

TRP as a whole promotes a “Chad” personality. Speak for yourself, mate. TRP to me just means access to knowledge of the real world, of the different values that the two genders hold, of the way we interact, of how interpersonal, intersexual dynamics work. How you navigate through all of that is up to you, so to say "TRP promotes becoming a Chad" is simply misguided, though I'm not saying that's one of the options if that's how you choose to utilize the tools. TRP is simply an awareness.

Good on you. I would double layer it just to make sure, no kidding.

I'm saving this post. This cannot be emphasized enough: Women can't love a man for who he is, only what he is.

You are definitely right there. Their intimacy is a trap. The right way to treat it is to either enjoy it or leave it, but never to indulge in it. Never show true weakness to women you want to fuck. They won't want to fuck you if they cannot respect you. Confide in your friends if you have to, that's what friends are for. Wish I didn't have to learn this the hard way, but I did.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I guess the moral of the story is that don't catch feelings. Oneitis is a disease.

In a society where you are safe as long as you stay obedient and try to be nice and good, it is true that you don't have to become a real man to survive. It is really worrying that there is one essential thing that many haven't realized now though: While becoming a man is optional for survival, it is in no way optional for happiness. Becoming a man is a must if one truly wishes to be happy. This is why we have so many unhappy people, this is why the male suicide rates are that much higher than t…

Congrats on your big step out of the Blue Pill mindset. That could've gone better, but worth celebrating nevertheless. This was certainly interesting to read, I really wish there were more posts like this one. One question though, did you remember to use protection?

I agree with some of the points, but feel that the post missed the mark for the essential messages it attempted to convey, and ended up sounding superficial. To put it in concise terms, this is nothing more than a healthy mindset to adapt: A positive attitude, self-improvement, more social interaction, taking good care of oneself; all of which should be rather obvious already.

I approve of this comment. It really depends a lot on the circumstances, and your mood at the time. I don't have a lot of experience myself but I find that the best way to go about sex is to just enjoy it. Obviously it's better when you have a clear idea or two of what to do, but those knowledge are essentially guidelines and not something we strictly follow for an intended outcome. Think of them as aids to help us enjoy the act of sex better, with the only real goal is to enjoy it as much as we…

As a small nitpick, it's better to contrast frame in terms of resiliency/durability versus plasticity. An natural alpha may not have much influence, but his frame will be impenetrable - it only changes when he makes the conscious decision to alter something within it. Conversely, he can shake with a beta who possesses more social proof but a more precarious sense of self. Agreed, very well put. Not necessarily. Betas can have very strong frames, albeit they are fundamentally flawed and reinforce…
