I would find actions like that to be very disrespectful to me as the BF. Your woman should innately know that accepting something from another man is taking a baby step towards going over the line... and is not acceptable for a woman in a serious relationship. Look at it this way.. how would your dad respond if mom came home and said "Hey honey! Look at the cool gifts Dave at the office gave me!" Exactly.

I had a business for a while. A marketing/design firm. I did a lot of work myself... had a couple of part-time graphic designers, a lot of 1099 contract people. I got a reputation for being the guy people would call in and say "Look what this other agency did for me and charged me $30k". Sure enough, every time it would realistically be about $2k of work. Larger agencies did a great job of really SELLING their worth and the awesomeness of the simple job. Eventually the client would be told by so…

I remember early after my marriage ended, I was talking to a therapist. I said "Why is it I always seem to attract women with daddy issues?" Therapist: "Ummm... ALL women have daddy issues."

Funny, I had a conversation recently with an older woman about not all MEN are like that... That we don't all want to have sex with multiple women (her words). I had to set her straight. Yes, yes we do. It's in our nature to look at and size up about 100 women a day. Do married guys act on that impulse? Not always. Doesn't mean the impulse is not there. Some of us may be ONE more nagging bitch session or ONE more sexless night at home away from hitting the singles bar. Where men fail is that we …

Many of us have been there, my friend. Time heals... trust me. It sucks for a while. Then it doesn't suck SO bad. Then you go days without thinking about it. Weeks. Months. Then you're over it and you look back on your sad time and laugh. It's a very real, very human reaction you are having. Betrayal. Abandonment. The loss of a loved one. It's all rolled into one giant heap of awfulness.

My dad died of a heart attack at the age of 53. I was 29. I am an only child, so the burden of taking care of just about everything fell on me. My mom and dad's relationship was pretty old school, so she was dependent on him for a lot. She worked and had her own business, but he was her emotional rock and kept her moving along in a positive direction. As soon as he passed, she went off the rails. She aged 20 years in the first year. Physically and emotionally a wreck. The stress of caring for he…

This is an interesting one. It would be a sexy proposition that I honestly wouldn't have an issue with if it weren't for the "I can't be myself" angle and the "No, you can't participate" thing. Two GIANT red flags of gargantuan proportions. In her mind this isn't just a little sexy fun experiment but rather a real life-altering/questioning experience that she doesn't want you to be a part of. So, if it were me... I would ignore her and go date other chicks. This ain't gonna go away. She most lik…

Yeah, I'm agreeing 100% with this. I cringed reading your story, OP. Lots of guys, like myself, have been in your shoes. Your wife is anxiety-ridden, depressed and way overwhelmed. This isn't going to end well. She can mask the problem with SSRI's, but it will negate some of those positive things you like about her. There's always a give and take with drugs. Your wife is primed right now to do something very stupid. This can be in the form of gambling, spending a ton on credit cards, running off…

I think your wife's frustrations mainly come from you not taking the lead with your mom. Mom buys you things you don't need? "Mom, we love you to death and appreciate the gifts... but we really have no room for this stuff in our house. It just gets cluttered. Instead, how about you take that same cash and put it into a fund for the baby? We would love that and it would go to good use. Sound good?" Mom not being clear about yes or no to babysitting? Take the lead and get an answer. OR... better y…

Oh, I got this one. Because it's what they SEE every day as a kid. Almost every kid goes through a "I like Mr/Mrs Teacher... I want to do that some day, too." Then you go out into the world and see a 100 other careers and find something that is more suitable to you. If you are the type that doesn't ever get out and see the world or have any outside interests, you just go with the flow and take whatever is right in front of you. They're basic bitches, is what I'm trying to say.

If some dude sent messages to my woman, I full expect her to share them with me. We don't hide things from each other. I was not sexual in any way with the woman that texted me... so I had nothing to hide.

One of the biggest moments of personal growth for me has been the acknowledgement that I don't HAVE to be friends with everyone on the planet. If somebody does something I don't like or conducts themselves in a way that makes me uncomfortable, I don't have to play nice and go along with them out of some altruistic nonsense I conjured up in my needy little head. I have every right to say "Nah... I'm cool, thanks" and walk away. Even if that makes me out to be some gigantic asshole or an inconside…

Also, as I've said in another thread... all of the above coupled with a German cultural dislike of kids (unlike our cultural worship of kids in the States), leads to a lot of childless couples.

I worked in an office with 4 women around me. Jesus H. Christ. Crying... lots and lots of crying. One leaves the room, they ALL talk about her. Watched two get fired. Both because the head chick in charge just didn't like her. And they were all very hyper sexualized when around each other. They talked about sex a lot. Men. Men's butts. Dating. I had to get out. It was insanity.

You feel like she's the ONE and the only ONE and you therefore become blind to a bazillion red flags and she loses respect for you. It's best to have an undercurrent "This MF'er can get ANY chick he wants, I better work hard to keep him" in the relationship. Keeps her on guard and other dicks out of her mouth.

Yes, but culturally Germany is NOT a child-friendly place. They do not worship children like we do in the States. Children are annoying bores to much of the educated elite in Germany.

My experience has been that many women GENUINELY feel over-the-top hollywood love for a man (if they find the "right" one)... and really really want to hang on to that love for as long as they can. Where a lot of men get surprised is that they do the tests and give you every opportunity to keep them in-love, but the second they decide you're out... you are OUT. They just flip the switch and they are DONE with you. Forget the past, forget the good times and all that mumbo jumbo. She gave you a ch…

I co-signed and consolidated my wife's student loans 15 years ago. In our divorce agreement she agreed to take on the student loan payments. A year later I get a notice that my credit score is now in the toilet. She skipped 5 months' worth of payments. Had to send nasty letter from attorney. The loan is now in forbearance and she is attempting to get it refinance in her name only. In the meantime, my score dropped lower. Never cosign, ever. Routinely check credit report. Don't marry somebody bad…

Yeah, my ex-wife did the same. I was the only one controlling the money. I was the only one worrying about bills. She was the spender. She was always shocked that her little spending here and there added up so quickly. She resented me for trying to control her. I would often blow up at her. In my defense, the sitting down and discussing rationally and coming up with a plan thing never quite sunk in. She eventually had an affair and divorced me and now has all of the freedom she desires. Come to the US and you have a higher chance of making $500k+ as a surgeon. I know attendings who live in mansions and have places all over the country and a stable of cars. They're living the high life. Getting to the point was tough, but it's doable.

My marriage was dull. I admit it. But, it was moral. It was wholesome. We were, overall, good people. Then the wife left and went to a guy that is not so wholesome and good. He's a dirtbag, actually. I have watched over the last two years my ex-wife go from the somewhat nerdy and goofy person to a dirtbag. Her dress is different. The way she carries herself. Her voice. Her written grammar (text messages from her are like talking to a 13 year old). This is a completely different person. She is no…

I remember in my college years.. I was in the best shape ever. Abs. Muscles. Went back home with my girlfriend (future wife). We went to a park that had a big lake and pool area. Yeah, I'm surprised this movie hasn't been mentioned more on here. It's absolutely RP in every way and throws aside all political correctness. The dad even gives RP speeches to the boy. I don't remember them word-for-word... but I remember him telling the boy that maybe his mom should've stuck it out with him and watched him improve as a human being over the years.. instead of jumping ship so early in their marriage. If you had asked me a few years ago about how I would react to my wife's infidelity, I would've given you the standard "throw her ass out, burn her shit, tell everyone, fuck 283 young college chicks immediately" answer. Every guys says that. Instead, I became a groveling ass. I asked for reasons why. I asked her friends. I asked her family. I cried myself to sleep for days. When I was near the end of my marriage, I was sick a lot. Stress? Poor health? Who knows. All I know is that I was legitimately ill. Flu. 104 temp. Strep. Sinus infections. Just awful stuff that made me feel terrible. The ex-wife absolutely did NOTHING to help me and would honest-to-god be perplexed every time reference to the illness came up. My first "holy shit" post-divorce dating moment was when an extremely smart, professional, beautiful woman came on to me VERY hard and was very overtly sexual to me. The catch was that she had a man. A live-in boyfriend. I asked her why she was hanging out with me and not with him. Her straight-faced answer: because I only get to see him three days a week. He works too much. They have to have that regular intimacy. Keep the hormones and feel good chemicals flowing. That's how you stay bonded tog…

As a guy who has experience with medical therapies that involve hormones... I will testify that hormones have a HUGE impact on your sense of well-being, energy and libido. Huge. Any guy who has been on steroids or TRT and have accidentally crashed their estrogen will tell you... it sucks. You don't feel like doing anything. This is something a lot of young guys on here ignore. When you play around with "plates" that are married or LTR's, you're playing with fire. Worse, you're playing around with a man. Beta or not, the guy is a dude and can react very irrationally.

Food for thought: Your wife is not interested in doing those things with YOU. Do you know how many guys have discovered the details of their wives affairs and say "She did THAT with him?! And at the risk of sounding like an armchair psychiatrist, I've personally seen a great number of guys who exhibit really "needy" behaviors and 9 times out of 10 you can trace that back to them being abandoned in some way at a crucial stage of their life. Divorce. Dad left. Mom left. Abuse. The RP way to remedy it? Recognize you have an emotional wound, get help, learn from it, fix it, move on. Continue working on it. Recognize when you're slipping. I recognize that a large number of my failures…

Yeah, I agree somewhat. I would've just said "That was a bit disrespectful, don't you think? How about you apologize to me, to my woman, and we can continue on like that didn't just happen." It would've then been tense and awkward, but you show that you have "boundaries" (so tired of that word) and stand by your principles. But then again, if he said that and my woman was all happy and found it hilarious and flirty... then yes, I would've made your move, for sure.

Men want comfort and the reassurance that they have built a good fortress of protection and security for them and their family. Boring can be good if it means the machine is clicking and working as it should. Women want to have their minds blown and a giant smile on their face 90% of the time. Plus all the security stuff. Hence the AF/BB phenomenon. Which is why in a LTR you gotta maintain game. It's fucking exhausting.

No. Call me old-fashioned or whatever, but I don't enter into a marriage with a woman so that I can screw around behind her back. She's failing the kids by using them as ways of getting even with you.. and then taking them to restaurants when she should be saving money. She's showing that her decision-making abilities suck. You then step up and take over. "No worries, dear... I got it." Just leave her at home to stew in her anger and you be the role model they need. She had baggage and all of that craziness, but I didn't do my job as a man to prevent the bomb from exploding and taking out the family. See my other posts... I go into detail. Lost my edge after a failed business and kids came. I AM in a better place, for me personally... but it is at the expense of my childrens' well-being and mental health. That's something that's very hard for me to come to …

I agree. I really don't get it, either. The guy does have the over-the-top alpha appearance, at least externally. But, the more I learn about him, he seems to be a serial monogamist. He marries/dates long-term, then splits and quickly jumps on to the next one. I know a lot of women like this. Plus all of his women seem to be very muscular. Last girlfriend was absolutely on steroids (I used to be in that world and there's no doubt). He may be giving my ex some anabolics, too. The whole thing is v…

Hehe... I get your point. Let's review, shall we? I get the kids 5 days a week. I pay no alimony or child support. She's a 40 year old woman with three kids. He now has HER to worry about and deal with. Everyone knows what they did. I banged 5 women in one year and now have a steady RP woman (young, foreign, smart, hot). I shoulda kissed the guy on the lips.

Ya know... I said that. Everyone I know says that... but then when it happens, ya don't. You look at your kids and weigh the pros/cons. Eventually you look at your ex and their partner as pathetic, sad people. As long as they don't harm my children in any way, let them do and think what they want. I'm way better off without them and have improved immensely in every way.

Oh no... you're absolutely right! I posted this as a follow-up to my other posts which very bluntly state "Holy shit, all that good guy stuff meant nothing. She left for the poo-nanny tingles!" I was rehashing those things to reframe the issue... show that I was super duper nice guy and did these things, and here I am today. You'll be happy to know I turned the corner in a big way and have completely reinvented myself. Big fan, by the way. Bought your book a while back.

I bet you she had recent contact with the guy she used to date... and that's why all of this came up right before the wedding. Her coming out like that is odd. Not sure what her advantage is... must be a true, rare burst of guilty feelings that she couldn't hold any more. I really hope for his sake he gets the hell outta that relationship. With his background, he could get anyone he wants.

Hysterical bonding is something experienced by both sexes. After infidelity is discovered, there tends to be an over-the-top brief period of communication and sex. I experienced it first-hand, and know many guys who also have. Then you very quickly snap out of it and have a "Ew... what the fuck did I just do??" moment. Kinda interesting that so many people have an instinctual "I've been cheated on, must fuck" reaction.

It seems that the Red Pill gods were really pounding me with good advice after my wife left me... and most of it came from women. Some gems from a woman I worked with at the time of my divorce (before she was fired): "A woman can't help if she falls out of love with you. If it happens, there's no going back. Don't take her back. Ever." "You don't need to worry about relationships right now.. you just need to have sex for a while." "You're the nicest guy I've ever met. That means you will be walk…

I've always considered myself to be an introvert. That is until I really get to know somebody, then I'm extrovert to the nth degree. I really think for many of us, it comes down to Anxiety. When I experienced my divorce stuff, I finally had to come to terms with my anxiety (since it was amplified so much). I went on anti-anxiety meds for two months. I was waaaaaay more outgoing on the meds. Not crazy, just no longer "shy". Way friendlier. Went off the meds (due to sexual side effects) and then w…

I have a pretty overbearing mom. I've learned to ignore most of the negative coming from her. She's a very giving person, to a fault. Now that she is elderly, empathy and compassion are out the window. Kinda sad to see. Strangely, getting old has also turned up the "typical annoying female behavior". You would think lack of estrogen would make her more pragmatic or logical. Noooooo. Example: she went out to an event with my girlfriend. After the fact, my girlfriend reported that several times my…

When a woman truly loves you, she will do ANYTHING for you. She will be extremely giving, loyal, loving, sexual and sweet. She will take on your personality traits and hobbies/interests. The second she loses her respect for you... she hates you. You are the worst thing on the planet. She will act out in some way to defile you. She may cheat. She may talk about you to everyone. THIS is the subject I am most confused about as a guy in a monogamous relationship. There's the opinion of "ignore and pretend it's no big deal... dread game". I can see this point. If I make a big deal of another guy, that elevates his status and makes me out to be a butthurt beta a-hole. If I make a big deal out of it, I'm basically saying "I REALLY don't want to lose you and I'm scared this guy is going to take you out from under me." Pretty weak mindset. Amen. I've run into this anti-weightlifting/bodybuilding mindset among the more cerebral cliques. My current GF is very much part of it. They say they enjoy their men thin and neat... but she and her friends secretly like the muscles. As long as you don't look like a total roided out freak monster, they love your body. When's the last time you saw a thin marathon runner on the front of a romance novel? Never. They all look like guys who live in the gym.

I think it's her way of saying "You don't initiate calls to me... I always call you. Why is that? How about you call me sometime?" My answer would have been "I am free around 9pm tonight. If you want to chat, call me." Little bit of dread. Show's you're busy. You have a life outside of her... yet you're there to talk. If she wants to talk that badly, she can call you. You're above the silliness.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard this. And some people, like my mom, still complain about some aspects of the divorce. I always say "You don't understand! She could've ruined me very easily!"

Fair enough. I was just posting this as an expose of a real world, "post wall" post divorce woman and what she goes through... and its effects on everyone. I know it seems a little over the top, but I had all the details and I do find it very interesting, in a scientific way. I emotionally detached from her long ago. She is now a repulsive beast of a woman in my eyes.

And really... there was no reason to do it. Maybe she thought I may refuse to watch the kids all that time if I knew that she was getting implants? That was really very low of her. Cold blooded. Sick woman.

Just being around her family and seeing what was going on there... that was a giant red flag. She always had some addictive behaviors, like spending money, hiding her spending, and eating. She fluctuated in weight. She went from kinda chubby to really great looking. Back and forth. She would eat gargantuan amounts. Very impulsive in her behaviors and would take great offense to anyone insinuating that she wasn't behaving perfectly.

Not sure what you're saying here. On paper, we share custody 50/50. It's actually been around 60/40 on average (I have them more). What I'm doing now is waiting for possible shit storm of accusations and general craziness to come.. which will lead to the topic of child custody/safety... which will then lead to me saying "Let's go to the evidence, shall we?!" and possibly getting primary custody of the kids. Hopefully we won't go down that road.

As I understand it, I would have to prove that it was detrimental to my well-being. Like if she told my employers I was on drugs, or that I abused the kids or something. If I could easily file a lawsuit against her for slander, every divorced couple everywhere would do it.

It's an interesting story... I was talking to a gal after the divorce who told me I had become too much of a "nice guy" and chicks don't like "nice guys". I think I started Googling, read the No More Mr. Nice Guy book, some other stuff, forums, etc... found TRP.

Identity fluidity... I love it. Explains it perfectly. Every woman I've been close to.. she has just taken on my personality traits. My hobbies. My likes/dislikes. It seems that the more broken they are, the more they have no sense of self and more they completely thrown themselves into a new identity you have provided for them... and they just as equally throw OUT the old them (job, kids, friends, etc).

Okay okay... She's had two phones. The first one when we were married. I hacked a backup of her phone. Read texts. The second was recently... she gave her old broken phone to my son to use for games.
