I think you made a good point but the women should not have refused to do her job. I could not imagine telling my superior I could not do the job that I was hired to do. If she needed help she could have said she needed help, not straight refused to do her job.

To me it seems that people in this sub-Reddit are complaining too much about the privileges women get from the government when we should be advocating for men to get those privileges too. The Republican idea of taking away some of the privileges women get is not going to get MRAs any closer to our goals.

I see no problem with kids being encouraged into coding at a younger age as long as both genders will benefit which I assume they will.

What I don't understand is why they think only women have children. CEOs who are men have children too and you don't see them dropping out of the work force to "raise their kids". If men had the option that women have to work part time in order to spend time with their children I think they would and not cry about getting paid less to do less work. It is also suspicious that they are not worried about the gender gap in dangers jobs like mining and farming.

I mostly agree with the article but am sick and tired the false equivalencies used when attacking an ideology. Equating Atheists with being just as religious as Theist is just as wrong as equating MRAs with being just as sexist as Feminists. The worst thing you could say to an Atheist is that they are religious, which is why Christians use this same line of attack.

I wonder if the pressure for getting females into surgery will be so great that hospitals will make provisions for doctors to take time off to take care of their families? Then women can complain when they get paid less for working less.

I would have been happier if the video didn't try to us brain chemistry to explain masculinity and femininity. I don't think any one has run experiments to make people masculine or famine in the womb but this video makes it seem like we have brain chemistry figured out and we could make a fetus gay by increasing specific hormone levels. It sounds like a lot of arm chair neurology to me. Gender roles wouldn't be an issue if we didn't demonize or glorify them. We don't need these roles anymore.
