Maybe that should be my new strategy… Over-saturation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Going on 4-years of irreparable family decay because I called my sister-in-law a cunt one night for something objectively inexcusable… Bill speaks the truth!..

You’ve completely misunderstood what I said, and/or the comment I was responding to.

Agreed... She’s the creep, not her parents (or whomever shot the original video). They may have failed as parents, but that’s another story entirely.

Yeah... There’s a strong cultural divide there too, which adds to the slope. Some Europeans—for instance—would think nothing of letting 1-2-3 year olds run around naked on the beach, whereas (even though it’s not the biggest deal in the world if they get away from you for a second with their shorts down) here in the U.S. it’s very uncommon, and even looked down upon. It says a lot about our (often shitty) American culture that it’s even an issue. Although, I do see both sides.

The "surprise" was a 35-second clip of 3-year-old DeMartino lifting her dress to reveal her naked body underneath... It is when you’re 3-YEARS OLD

I had to take over my mother’s financials when she suffered a severe stroke a few years back; paying bills, signing her up for certain benefits, buying groceries with her account, etc etc... Granted we have the same last name, but I was NEVER stopped. I’ve forged her signature hundreds of times—poorly I might add—and nobody gives a shit. “Security” is mostly in your head.

Happy to do it! It’s a great job in a lot of ways...

among other reasons... The key phrase here. It is in no way that physically challenging. I’ve been at it a long time, but the physical standard has only gotten easier... 15ish years ago when I went through it, fit guys failed because they were afraid of heights, or they were claustrophobic, or mentally psyched out by some aspect of the job... Never because it was too physically challenging. Someone with the physical abilities of this man would run circles around the average fire recruit. Full st…

While I appreciate the props and respect you have for my job, it’s not nearly as difficult as you’re making it out to be... There isn’t a whole lot of “technical knowledge” required to put water on a fire; you could teach a monkey to do it. Being a fireman takes balls and an attention to detail, as the smallest of things—like forgetting a piece of your gear—could mean the end of your life as you know it. The physically aspect of it is on par with any competitive sport... If you’ve played any con…

It may not be that high of a bar for very long. Imagine 9-years from now, and not having ANY text, Facebook, email, snap, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc messages between friends stating she knew... That blows my mind. She’d have to be a lonely/friendless hermit—with no mom/sister/cousin/other family to talk to—to accomplish this now. Sure, it would take some digging, but the evidence is there somewhere.

Thank you! On behalf of firemen/paramedics/etc everywhere... We don’t think we’re special, or deserve exclusive privileges (most don’t anyway; some of the newer/douchier ones do, but I digress), we simply just wouldn’t get to have coffee if we had to wait in the queue. I don’t ever ask, but I never say no when someone offers to let me pay first when I’m on duty.

If he were to drive off without giving them a chance to get out, or—worse yet—drive off angrily, injuring one of them as they tried to escape, it would absolutely be considered kidnapping; assault, battery, endangerment, etc... Kidnapping is a weird one though. I’d like to hear a lawyer’s take on it, but I don’t believe this would count, since he gave them every opportunity to vacate his vehicle. However, if they demanded to be let out once he started driving and he refused, that again would be …

I don’t see this as PPD material, really. Granted, she didn’t get her way, but she got to do what she wanted to do—sit in his car, delay his night, piss the guy off—and in the end, he has no repercussion because he’s on camera calling her a cunt. Funny as that was, Uber isn’t going to back him on that one... My play would have been simple, and funnier for me in the end: ask them to get out, and when they don’t, drive in the complete opposite direction of where they wanna go. “Oh, you want out no…
