How can he fight back?I'm not sure about your relation to OP and OP's friend. This is addressed to the (wanna be) dead beat Dad. Its awesome you want to take care of him, but the court decided she gets full custody. That means its entirely out of your hands at this time. The only way you can help take care of him is to pay child support. Even if she doesn't need the money you should offer it to help. If you don't have the money, that's another matter. How can he fight back?Too bad no one even thought of saving the child. But really, my Dad went dead beat often and his excuses sound fairly similar. If you are supposed to pay child support, you should pay it. If the mother mis-spends it and you can prove it, then get custody.
