This is going to be a wildly different take here than most people but have you considered trying to reframe your point of view to see this guy as a potential partner and give it a try? Youve said in your post that it wouldnt be a problem if you were attracted to him, so what if you tried to make yourself be attracted to him, like mentally point out to yourself any attrative features he has and really commit yourself to seeing him in a different light. Theres more to it buf this has worked for me…

Actually I think that it would be that if the workplace pays men 10 an hour an 9 an hour for women that the men would buy for 1 and the women for .9 because then everyone would be using 6 mins of their pay for a cookie. That's a bit idealistic to have it vary like that but ii think it would make the most sense. Of course equal pay overall is best but that's another discussion. Btw I am a guy.
