1	Don't rely too much on theory The theories themselves are meant as guidelines, and are not meant for a specific person. You can learn a lot from others mistakes, and while its good to make and learn from some of your own, reading up on some of the content posted here can save you some time and effort. I stopped caring what others thought or did and focused on my own personal enjoyment.
