You don’t need to take any pills at all, there’s absolutely no reason to subscribe to extreme ideologies like that. Both are wildly isolating. Self improvement goes a long way re: confidence and mental health and you shouldn’t look at that point as ‘red pill’ - it’s widely accepted and practiced.

They aren’t. Also, most virgins aren’t incels. The lack of sex isn’t what makes an incel an incel, it’s the rhetoric they subscribe to.

I workout at the gym in a sports bra and I can assure you I would think nothing of seeing you at the gym. Maybe a fleeting ‘good for you’, but more likely I’m not even noticing because I’m not looking around at people and no one looks ‘out of place’ at a gym anyway. That being said, gym anxiety is common at first. It takes a while to realize literally no one cares, they’re there doing their own thing and you’re of no consequence to them. I can’t really unpack the not wanting to look at women thi…

Woman who lost weight here - men were also friendlier to me after losing weight. Like, shockingly friendlier. Men I had even considered friends when I was fat were nicer to me after I lost weight. Some people suck and it’s not specific to gender.

The term ‘incel’ has evolved to be a state of mind and actually has very little to do with virginity. Also, your perspective is weird to me, but if you don’t want to date virgins… don’t? No one is forcing you to lol

I find that impossible to believe, but assuming it’s true then allow me to be the first: my fiancée is the kindest person I’ve ever met and that is one of the main reasons I’m with him. Secondary only to our chemistry, ability to laugh together and shared morals/values. Our compatible communication styles have helped in terms of longevity as well. He hasn’t ‘given’ me the life we live, we’ve built it together. We have comparable, average incomes with me bringing in a bit more. What he brings to …

No. Sex is like sex for women. Attention is like attention. RP loves to oversimplify and generalize women as if they aren’t also complex beings with thoughts and feelings and morals.

A community for men ‘going their own way’ is anti-women by nature, because if you’re looking for a community with like-minded men you obviously aren’t ‘going your own way’ in terms of male relationships. You just want nothing to do with women and want to talk to men who also want nothing to do with women as a whole. Does that make sense? A community focused on intentionally not developing relationships (of any kind) with women would only exist to be explicitly anti-women and perpetuate the belie…

So... you just listed a bunch of great qualities about this woman. She’s amazing, she’d be a great mom, she’d never cheat on you… And you’re worried you shouldn’t marry her because she dated a girl when she was 15 and your corner of the internet tells you that makes her a whore. An amazing, motherly, monogamous… whore. Do you really have to ask if this fear is rooted in reality or rooted in redpill bullshit? I’m not sure what her not going to the bar or dressing a certain way has to with her sharing your beliefs. Would you have a problem if she suddenly decided to go to a bar or wear a short dress? Would you object if she made a new friend who was a man? If so, your relationship isn’t as healthy as you think. Do you respect her as an equal? Also - do you think subscribing to redpill ideology is the only way to achieve self improvement? My boyfriend of four years is a feminist… he also goes to the gy…

Largely the same as being single. My character and baseline mood never really changed, although I do struggle more with my mental health now than I did before we met. Which is certainly in no way his fault or related to him at all. I would say I’m a bit more boring/more of a homebody now, and I have to consider my partner when making big decisions. Or small ones, like what to watch on TV or what to have for dinner. Apart from the sex - which has slowed down after so many years together, which is…

For starters, the women who don’t like their partner being vulnerable usually aren’t the same ones asking for it. There is no blanket ‘women’ to speak of - there are billions of women each with their own wants, desires, personalities, etc. Also - red-pill communities are full of confirmation bias. Of course you’re not going to see men posting in redpill spaces about how their partner encouraged them to be vulnerable and then welcomed them with open arms. To put it into perspective… some women ma…

Have you ever had feelings for somebody? I love my partner. I don’t want to be with anybody else. Not only would I never do anything to hurt him - and sleeping with someone else would hurt him - I literally just have no desire to be with someone else. Because I have him, and I’ve made a commitment to him. He’s made the same commitment to me. We have built a life together. He knows me better than anybody and I love coming home to him. Why would I throw it away just to entertain attention from oth…

‘Women find crying out of sandness a turn off.’ No, they do not. Don’t make generalized statements that lump all women together. Women are their own people with their own preferences. There is a huge disparity between how red-pilled men think women perceive men, and how the vast majority of women actually perceive men. Surveys in the past have actually indicated that 97% of women consider a man crying strong and healthy. Who is telling you otherwise? Who is telling you women don’t want you to cr…

It is. Women prefer authenticity over pick up artist tactics. If you believe otherwise, it’s probably why you’re not getting women. Try listening when women tell you what they like.

Of course you can 😂 I have absolutely no doubt that normal, respectful people are hooking up way more than brainwashed redpillers. They just aren’t following ridiculous manospheric rules to get women into bed. They’re getting women into bed by being genuinely likeable.

What would you say to a man? I just want to be treated like a human. Ask what you’re interested in knowing about me. View me as a potential friend or interesting conversationalist. Let the conversation flow. There’s no secret to it.

The easiest way for me to let men in is to become friends first. My current boyfriend and I (we’ve been together for four years) became friends (albeit flirty friends) for months before we started dating. I already knew his stance on ‘red pill issues’, his thoughts on women, politics, religion, abortion, etc. It’s a much more organic way to get to know someone without the pressure of dating. Still absolutely room to get tricked - lots of people are good at hiding their toxic behaviours at first.…

I can’t count how many times I’ve seen my boyfriend cry in the four years we’ve been together. He cries when he’s upset. It’s a normal human reaction. I certainly don’t think he’s any less ‘masculine’ for it - if anything, that level of vulnerability brought us closer.

No more than women should. There’s a balance between letting yourself feel and express your emotions, and lashing out or behaving inappropriately because of them (for any gender).
/r/ExRedPill21/03/23 01:25 PM

I think maybe your reaction to being single and the emotion you feel about it is perhaps a symptom of your BPD. But you don’t have borderline personality because of women or because you’re single.

That’s literally impossible to foresee. Everyone that gets married expects to be together forever, but life happens and alas, the divorce rate is ~50%. Half of the people who get married are wrong about that. How is the blame entirely on women?

I’m confused. I’ve never seen a valid argument ‘against’ single mothers - I don’t even know what you mean by an argument ‘against’ single mothers. And what do you mean by ‘a bunch of options and chose the wrong one?’ That seems like a gross oversimplication of a wide array of complicated situations. Was the wrong choice the sex? Because the man is equally responsible for that. Takes two to tango. Was the wrong choice the birth control, or lack thereof? Because the man is a) also capable of weari…

It’s natural to be afraid of ending up alone. But with incels specifically, they have romantic and sexual relationships on a pedestal because they’ve never experienced them. It’s the curiosity of the unknown. I’m not terrified of being single because I know that romantic relationships and sex aren’t the end-all be-all to happiness. They aren’t going to fix all of your problems - they may even cause you more. Losing your virginity doesn’t do or change anything. You feel exactly the same afterward…

I think they think women think it’s attractive on good looking men, and that it doesn’t work for them because they see themselves as unattractive or lacking something else. They see it as a double standard that attractive men can get away with and they can’t.
/r/ExRedPill17/02/23 12:39 PM
3

But I never once said I wasn’t attracted to shorter men. My point was the exact opposite - that I was actively attracted to them and held back by insecurity that was tied to my own physicality. I know you don’t know me, which is why it’s bizarre you insisted I was wrong about how I felt and why I felt that way. Perhaps your point is just irrelevant on my comment thread and may make more sense elsewhere.
/r/ExRedPill10/02/23 07:04 PM

You were talking about me specifically when you said I wasn’t insecure. When I insisted I was, you doubled down and said I wasn’t, and that my blatant insecurity was actually a subconscious evolutionary preference. 🙄 I didn’t ask for a study. Would just prefer you don’t presume to know more about me than I do.
/r/ExRedPill10/02/23 04:51 PM
5

That’s bizarre. What I tell you I want, what I tell myself I want, and what I actually want… are the exact same thing. My partner is the same. It makes life pretty uncomplicated.
/r/ExRedPill10/02/23 03:39 PM

Nope, I’m not turned off by short men. I was insecure about my own height in the presence of anyone shorter than me, man or woman. I didn’t like being tall. Most men I’ve had crushes on have literally been my height or shorter. Thanks for the attempt at mansplaining evolution and telling me I’m wrong about my own insecurities though 😂 I am after all just a silly girl who isn’t capable of understanding her own crazy and irrational feelings. Thank goodness there are men on the internet to correct …

Nah, it’s an insecurity I’ve struggled with since my growth spurt in eighth grade. I didn’t wish for a big protector, I wished to be shorter and fit in with my friends.

The idea that women don’t know what they want is part of red pill theology and is inaccurate. Only redpillers/incels don’t believe women when they tell them what they want… and low and behold, they’re the men who struggle to get women. I wanted a sweet and caring guy and developed a crush on one who already had those traits.

I’m 5’9 and always said I’d prefer a man my height at least. This was mostly rooted in insecurity (I was worried men wouldn’t like it if I was taller than them/was insecure about my height). I ended up with a guy my height in the end (which is still below 6’) but I met a 5’7 guy on tinder before I met my current partner, and we dated for like a year. Wasn’t an issue at all. Also, I wasn’t his first relationship, nor his first relationship with a woman taller than him. While I have no doubt he wo…

Or just keep browsing Reddit for niche things that hurt your feelings and using them as confirmation bias for what you already believe. You say you have an ‘open mind’, but it seems like you only have an open mind when it comes to understanding negativity and refuse to open your mind to any type of conversation that contradicts that negativity. Don’t ask for advice if what you really want is for someone to just tell you you’re right. That is not what this sub is for.

I don’t think you’re dumb. I do think you’re setting yourself up for disappointment and hurt by trying to rationalize and understand comments like that, and especially by assuming that views like that represent the views of the masses. There are always going to be people who say stupid shit. Recognize it as stupid shit and don’t obsess over it.

You saw a comment or two on Reddit and are getting hung up on it. The majority of people don’t believe that, and you don’t need to understand the ones who do. Don’t worry about them and just rest assured they’re in the minority.

I’d recommend some therapy to figure these feelings out with a professional. There’s a lot of resentment and confusion going on here. First and foremost: stop watching redpill videos, because I promise it’s part of the problem. Distance yourself from that community entirely.

5’9 isn’t short dude. I’m 5’9 and my boyfriend is also 5’9. The guy I dated before him was 5’6 and hot. You are absolutely average, and your height will only hold you back if you allow it to. I guarantee women aren’t looking at you and thinking ‘wow, he’s so short’.

It… really isn’t. It’s so, so far detached from reality. If you believe otherwise, that’s a huge part of your problem.

You absolutely refuse to hear any truth that doesn’t confirm what you already believe. My boyfriend is under 6 feet, not currently in shape and balding at 27 and I think he’s hot af. I’m not an anomaly. I highly, highly recommend seeking out some therapy.

I don’t feel this inequality within my relationship. My partner and I value and desire each others bodies equally, and I’m not sure why outside parties desiring (or not desiring) us would have any bearing on our own connection or relationship so long as we both respect and desire each other.

Pointing out that men’s emotional struggles are treated differently than women’s is in no way demonizing women, and I wholeheartedly agree. It’s systemically ingrained that ‘men don’t cry’ and both men and women contribute to it - I see it, I don’t like it, and I do what I can in my own small circle to help undo it. Saying the majority of women are shallow, date for protection, and will be ‘repulsed’ if a man shows vulnerability? That is what I can’t get behind. Also, my height is largely irrele…

I’m not personally being demonized here and I didn’t claim to be, it was an observation about the movement’s general perceived opinion on women. The point is that women are also held to different societal standards. There is problems in the way society views both genders, and both men and women have a long way to go. Negating the struggles of the other isn’t helping either movement. If this sub focused solely on bringing attention to men’s struggles, I could get on board. But it’s just as much f…

It’s interesting that when presented with any type of statistic or evidence that generalizes men and paints them in a negative light (ie. more likely to commit sex crimes), the response here is ‘most men aren’t like that’ - which, naturally, is very true. Most men are not abusers, and I understand why any blanket statements that lump an entire gender into ‘more likely to do x shitty thing’ or have ‘x shitty trait’ is annoying and invalidates individuality in favour of ‘biology’ and hundred year …

I guess I just find the cynicism in this thread discouraging, do you know what I mean? All any of us have to go on in discussions like this one are our own anecdotal evidence, and I understand that makes it difficult.
