I understand and it is an amazing disproportionate number. The bigger question is, out of all those immediate likes and matches, how would you rate the quality of the guys? I’ve had some women share their likes with me and any decent looking guy shouldn’t panic about their much higher number of likes. Understood but some women and men feel they were deceived, if there’s a big difference in the picture and in your personal appearance. We absolutely want to be professional and exhibit quality but no one wants to be surprised when they see you in person, as not as attractive as your pictures looked.

True, but you have to be real. If you portray yourself better or more successful than you are, you’ll be forever having to cover up these inconsistencies and you’ll never be able to go back to your real self.

That’s very true about the great results from a professional photographer. However as I began to read profiles better and recognize filtered pictures, I noticed that professional studio photos are actually too good. I’ve matched with many women I considered very attractive to beautiful that had studio photos. In person they do look entirely different.
