I get what you're saying. Obviously society is going to look down on someone for calling a victim an asshole, but let's say he was cheating. You can definitely call him an asshole and also say "but he didn't deserve what happened to him". Having Tinder on your phone isn't proof of cheating. To me, either he was using it, or he had it on his phone and never took it off. So, either an asshole, or dumb. Regardless, he definitely didn't deserve what happened to him.

I think you're being downvoted because you didn't explain why it's not first degree murder. 1st degree is premeditated, which means the killer would have had to plan the murder ahead of time. I'm not a fancy pants lawyer, but I'm thinking some sort of manslaughter charge would be sought.

Yeah, I see that too. I work for a corporation, so I see it a lot. Just don't get it. As a 32 yr old white male, I'm not protected for shit. I see slack-asses all day, and all I get is, "do you know how hard it is to fire someone?". To me, it should be black and white, if you're terrible at your job, you gotta go.

When the kid comes to the party, maybe you could pull him aside and teach him a thing or two. He obviously needs help with how to deal with situations like this in the future.
