I think this a cynical and personal approach to this topic. Objectively, it is the product of years and years of studies, observed tendencies, and data that creates a demographic. The advertisements then try to maximizes sales off those learned statistics. If you think there are some instances where a child/person is pushed to think one way because advertizing applies to the majority of people. Then yes, that could happen. But it is just that. A minority of a larger group. Not EACH child/person.

CORRECT! Statistics don't lie. It's not "one persons assumption". It is a known fact that, boys (on average) tend to be more rowdy and have 'less than friendly to school' interests. May it be violence, throwing, ect. It's no different than a demographic, hence advertizing is so different for boys and girls.

For those who have, I was under the impression you're not supposed to down vote just because you disagree.

But wouldn't you agree there are at least as many areas that are harder for women to get into as there are for men? Cant it be ok what some jobs are just better off for women and some for men? I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

I feel that this is a silly thing to pursue... I mean so what if that's how they feel. It's the same as in the restaurant industry where a LARGE majority of the servers are female. They usually are more agreeable to the customers, as a whole, I'm sure exceptions apply. I think we can all agree there can be men better than women and vice versa. To this women will never compare in the physical labor industry because they just don't have (again as a whole) what it takes to do the job or do it well.…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
