Ah, yeah that sounds like a good way to at least get closer to the truth.

Do you just straight up ask or do you bring the topic up gracefully in some way? I think I couldn't be very sure that I'm getting honest answers if I just asked.

Just because it happened 30 years ago doesn't mean he shouldn't not be held accountable (Assuming you meant should not,) in many jurisdictions it actually does. 30 years is a long ass time, the Internet was barely a thing back then. If our entire society can transform in that time then that's enough to forgive all but the worst offenses.

You can be productive while barely moving at all. Via reading for example, or even more so listening to audiobooks. Whether those are the most productive things you can do depends on your situation, but if you're a student for example then you could use this to get ahead in class. In any case you could read some self improvement literature, or educate yourself reading some classics. Hmu if you want any specific recommendations.

go to every event that you're invited to Do this, but only in the first couple of weeks IMHO. Later on in the semester you'll probably have shitloads to do since you're studying engineering, not some worthless crap that takes zero effort. If you solely focus on academics, you are fucked This is true, but you still have to prioritize academics. When the semester gets busy you should party once a week max if you ask me.

Read How to become a Straight A Student by Cal Newport. I find myself recommending this whenever the topic of college comes up simply because it actually works if you implement the stuff in the book. It will change your fucking life. https://libgen.pw/item/detail/id/1319236

My problem is i'll be so damn turned on i'll be busting so goddamn quick before I even get my pants off. From all the people with whom I've talked about this there has been exactly one guy whose first time kind of went like this. He got a bj and came really fast. For the rest it was just kinda shitty because they were drunk as fuck and/or couldn't just enjoy it because everything was so new. So I wouldn't worry about coming too fast your first time. It'll likely just suck. But that's fine.

You have literally nothing to gain from this, as has been pointed out often enough by now you might get jumped or sucker punched or whatever. Just cancel and stop going after the chick. Not worth the trouble.

Last week she sends me a Snapchat of her boobs and for some reason it got me thinking that she could've sent that to another guy as well. She could literally be sending nudes to other guys all day and you wouldn't know a thing, so why worry about this shit? You'll just dump her ass if any of that turns out to be true and be done with it. But you became insecure and then took it out on her by being cold. Next you ignore the beer pic (again because of insecurity), should've just wished her a fun n…

You are using extra large condoms, right? I'm circumcised as well and I couldn't fuck with regular condoms because they forced the blood out of my dick and I then didn't feel shit and went soft after a minute or two. So that doesn't have to be just because you're circumcised. If you're using regular condoms just try larger ones sometime.

You should never even feel the need to ask how to respond to one particular text, especially if it's this inane. I even told you what to do anyway, just do it and don't cry because you don't like what you're hearing. Also realize you have way fucking bigger problems with this chick.

You are overthinking this so hard. Also, as far as I can tell you went on one date with her and didn't fuck and you're already thinking of an LTR? Bad case of oneitis My brain is kinda low on humour now. Reply tomorrow. Also, the response you put in the OP is not agree and amplify. A&A is when you amplify her statement. Doesn't make sense here.

You should've answered in some playful way in the first place. Canceling and just not giving a fuck about her cause you're getting out of there and won't see her ever again anyway is probably the easiest option. If you do go for the meet for some reason I see 3 options off the top of my head: A) explain with a funny oneliner and leave it at that, tell her you just wanted to meet up, fuck her. Or B) feed her some bullshit like you got together with a super jealous girl and you now ended that rela…

This is a simple and effective system: Get a calendar and an A6/A7 notebook, tear out a page from the notebook each morning, write down when you're gonna do what. Use the flip side as to do list throughout the day (also write down any noteworthy ideas/thoughts etc.) Keep this page and a small pen with you all day. In the morning, look at yesterdays to do list, decide what you want to get done today, put the rest (usually shit that is not time critical) in the calendar on specific dates. Obviousl…

Sure, appreciate the offer. Say 60 years after retirement in 2030 with 100k a year. There's no need to have much money left when I die. I'd guess 3-5M will cut it.
/r/askTRP20/03/18 11:59 PM

Well, if OP is chasing money for the sake of money then I agree with you. Again though, racking up a couple mil in order to be truly free (i.e. getting fuck you money) is not a bad goal.
/r/askTRP20/03/18 11:30 PM

Enjoying life is hard if you don't have money. You're not free until you have enough money to never have to work again. With a decent career, by the point you're making 250k a year you should be close to financial independence. That's not a bad goal.

WSP is in fact the best one I know of, MrMoneyMustache is kind of similar but not quite as good IMO. WSP is just gold. Don't know many others focusing on financial independence etc but the blogs linked in TRP sidebar might have some decent info too even though they're mostly about women. Also there's this sub /r/financialindependence, probably not bad either but I've barely looked at it so far.

You start a business and build a career in parallel. This is going to take longer than 5-10 years unless you're exceptional. Read http://wallstreetplayboys.com, Efficiency is pretty damn good, definitely worth the ten bucks.

Be frugal. This is the wrong approach IMO. Spend your money but spend it well. You're not gonna get rich by making an effort to save a couple dollars a day. If you can afford it, get a maid, eat out often, get somebody else to do your chores etc. etc. You're gonna save lots of time and effort that you can invest in making more money. You can always get more money, but not more time.

If you want to raise a traditional family then you're pretty much fucked in the current climate. Then there's moral degeneration, political decadence, consumerism, addiction to instant gratification, cultural decay (just look at your average music video). You can't say there's no decline just because getting casual sex is easy now. That's but a miniscule positive in a sea of negatives. There's definitely a decline.

But my point is, don't choose to do what you love, choose to do what will pay the best, and learn to love it. I would add to this that if you absolutely hate what you're doing then quit doing it, no matter the pay. Find something you're okay with doing for 80+ hours a week for years, as you pointed out it doesn't have to be fun, but in the big picture money is a means, not an end. It's not worth it if you hate your daily life in consequence.

Well, I suppose different people have different views but for me hedonism isn't the end goal. It's more about having total freedom and the ability to pursue higher goals. Nothing is stopping you from going to work if you want to, or launching your own business if you want to. But you can also put that on pause and travel, or read/become more educated, jump into research, write a book or pursue artistic interests for a while. Working is necessary to some degree, but it's basically trading time fo…

Definitely agree with /u/beginner_ on just going for a kiss, simplest and fastest way to figure out if you're wasting your time. Take her someplace that doesn't make it hard for you to touch her, then touch her, playfully at first but build it up over an hour or two, the goal is to have your arm around her sitting next to her, pull her closer, then as soon as the conversation goes silent (you can just let the convo die if necessary) hold eye contact for a couple seconds, lick your lips, gently p…

I see it differently, I don't think you can boil this kind of post down to "a bunch of political shits looking for mob mentality to feel good about themselves". That is exactly what OP is arguing against. I think this sub needs this kind of post. Firstly, yes, TRP is about sexual strategy first and foremost. Since historically there haven't ever been this many suicides it might also be a valid consideration that the state of our society is the reason why suicide rates are this high in the first place. It's certainly hard to pinpoint the exact cause, but lack of community, a meaningful life, dependency on instant gratification etc. are mentioned often. You just go early enough so that you still get enough sleep, which is different for everybody. I've been waking up at 6AM everyday for roughly half a year now and I go to bed at 10PM. Before that I used to go sleep whenever I felt like it, which usually was around 3AM. Woke up sometime around 11AM. I expected the short evenings to suck when I began going to bed early, but in reality I ended up getting 10x more shit done early in the morning than I did late at night, so that tradeoff is worth it …
