| 2 | Getting down on one knee... what?ah, as I re-read I see your point. Dowry can be a loaded concept these days as so many feel that women are gold diggers. Apologies. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/09 04:21 AM |
| 5 | Getting down on one knee... what?Actually, I'm also the type of girl that would accept a proposal with no ring, but thanks for asking. | /r/MensRights | 17/12/09 07:06 PM |
| 1 | Getting down on one knee... what?Pardon me, what I should have said was I have no desire to participate in said tradition, however I wouldn't summarily dismiss a man who did. | /r/MensRights | 17/12/09 07:05 PM |
| 4 | Getting down on one knee... what?from a woman's perspective... I couldn't care less - it's sweet but awkward and there are a lot of other ways to show respect and sweetness. Admittedly there are both women and men who can and do care. I sincerely hope that people are self aware enough to seek out someone with similar values on this and many other things. | /r/MensRights | 17/12/09 01:34 AM |
