See I don't even know any female game developers. I know that women could make great games! I'm just saying that if they want more diversity in the culture they need be responsible for creating the content they want. I just don't get it, all I've ever seen since I was a kid was movies and commercials telling me a girl can do anything a man can or even better than he can. Or that men are just wrong and dumb. Where is this discouragement coming from? I do know that once I tried to pursue a nursing degree and the head of that department asked me "Why do you want to be a nurse? you're a guy" with a very angry look on her face. edit: maybe I'm just to young to have seen that culture of discouragement.
