As a young woman I can say this is true! Ladies are very attracted to a man with passion and purpose. Just make sure you don’t give the impression that you don’t like her/play too hard to get!

Praying for you as well, I would add the same advice as she listed above! Really just going to Christian meetups around your area (doesn’t even have to be your specific town), talking to people at church, and online dating can at least get you talking to other Christians! :)

I’ve been struggling with mental health issues for years and I find that getting in touch with my feminine side means getting in touch with my true self. After discovering RPW, I don’t have to pretend to be someone I’m not - hard, overly-ambitious, masculine. Feminine energy radiates from the inside out and I have been much more comfortable being innocent and gracious to everyone around me, therefore increasing my own joy. RPW has made me so much more confident, and femininity brings joy and har…

I’m in my first year of college now and I totally understand what you’re going through. I think most young women hit that stage somewhere in their late teens, especially with all of the young guys around. I have found that befriending people who may be a little older helps, as well as staying involved in things I love to do. I use Meetup for finding people who have the same interests as me. Possibly try finding some feminine activities to get involved in, where there might be mostly women around…

Thank you, I am in the process of applying for as many as I can now. They add up!

I will do that, thank you for the perspective. I will also run a FAFSA this spring to see how much my school would pay, and I believe if I end up having to pay anything over a certain amount I’ll be out. Apologies if this is a naive question, and I know status doesn’t quite matter to men as much as it does to women, but do you think men would see me as being less (smart? Successful?) if I went to community college and then transferred after two years? I think I could meet more people at a four y…

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I am frugal (besides tuition, I should clarify), but I think it’s difficult for a lot of teenagers, including myself, to truly conceptualize money besides very basically, so I’ll keep that in mind. I should also clarify I do genuinely love what I’m studying, it’s just that if I had to pick between family, and possibly financial freedom, and a career, I’d go with marriage and family. I have a lot to think about, thank you again. Financial freedom is certainl…

Do you think it’s worth the debt? I’m worried I’ll graduate and not be able to do things because of it. I know I can handle it eventually but right now I’m exhausted from pushing myself so I’m stuck...nice to meet someone with similar experiences, I’m just worried I’ll be even more depressed and anxious or not be able to pay off debt with work in my field.

Wonderful post. Thank you so much! Helpful for women at any stage in her relationship.

Thank you! I’m sorry if it came across as sounding like I believe I deserve anything, I definitely don’t believe that. However, I don’t think a decent man is necessarily too much to ask for if you’re worthwhile yourself, but maybe in this dating market especially, haha.

Thank you, I figured the same as well. I think the highest I’d go now is 22-23ish anyways without feeling like we’re on different levels...!

Thank you so much! Now it just comes down to finding them! :)

I know there’s quite a movement against them. I don’t own any myself, but take lessons through my own initiative, so I hope that I won’t be seen as spending “daddy’s money.” Maybe I shouldn’t bring it up into later...to be fair, I totally understand why people dislike them, as I’ve certainly met my fair share of entitled, obsessive, and plain crazy “horse girls!”

Thank you for the warning, I consider myself 3rd party as well. How would you go about actually approaching guys at a sporting event? Or would it be better to do that in a more intimate environment?

You'd be SO surprised at just how much you can get off of Ebay! I shop there for a lot of my clothes, as the sheer selection is so large. Sort by price and size. I love going into the vintage section as well (50s, 60s, etc) as most of the clothing is feminine, cute, and modest. Or, just look up current brands you like and enjoy the discounts :)

Oh my goodness, thank you for this. I will be headed to college this August and was/am still wondering why an ex of mine broke up with me, even after he said he didn’t know why himself. From looking at every other high school relationship I’ve seen, I realize that almost all guys at this age are just not ready for the sort of commitment that girls at this age expect and desire. Would you say the same about college men?

I believe Etsy may have what you're looking for. Besides having TONS of actual skirts, especially vintage ones that may suit your style, they have lots and lots of sewing patterns for sale!

I’m a proud ENFJ! We aren’t all wildly extroverted, though, and it’s interesting that most of the women commenting are introverts :)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
