In the military, following orders & chain of command without question is paramount to better facilitate the smooth functionality of the massive machine that is the US (or any other country's) military. This is conditioned into recruits from the moment they enter boot camp. However, this conditioning is carried out alongside the galvanization of each individual personality into a trained, methodical, efficient, tidy, potential killer- in addition to physical strength and endurance conditioning. C…

It only takes a small mental adjustment to take their self-improvement advice and have a different outcome than being a more fitting servant for the "queens".

We were made to read '13 Reasons Why' the book in my freshmen seminar class in high school, supposedly so we wouldn't be tempted to bully anyone. Even back then, I was pissed at how whiny and non-sequitur her suicide was. She ruins her reputation by making short-sighted sexual decisions, and cries about how unfair it all is.

Fellow INFP here, though I'm honestly not sure how much I buy into all that Meyer's Briggs stuff. Regardless, I feel what you're saying with that realism/realistic mindset stuff. I was pretty stubbornly adhering to my own crazy, romanticized, acid-induced spiritual view of the world a few years ago, to the point of unhealthy raging at the state of things and being stagnated in my development as a man. Eventually, one day as I was probably stoned and brooding about how unfair everything seemed to…
