There's that whole door dash court trial going on right now, start walking down the hallway naked, then sue her for recording you naked without your consent, or buy jammers

I really didnt have much time to grieve, broke down a few times in the bathroom, but I was basically forced to lower my head and push forward because outta nowhere I became a single dad with a broke back who just lost career, job, wife and stability, I tried maintain as much of normal for my kids as I could, while also be their rock and shoulder

I learned the hard way, dont take the high road dont be the bigger man, and dont be tactful, my kids grown on on their own talk to their mom almost everyday, if not every week, I hardly hear from em, but during the divorce I did all the right things, wouldnt let anyone talk bad about my ex in front of em, wouldnt put her down in front of em, force them to spend time together even when the kid didnt want to or "she was to bz" (chasing dick, and clubbing), I was civil thru it all and it seems the …

Tried to come back, which if she would've done it sooner or I was weaker id probably let her,but in the middle of the conversation it was like a lightbulb went off and I jus said/blurted out "i can't trust you, why would I put myself thru that knowing you could jus up and leave again, fuck that"

Stuck one on a truck on i10, ex called and cops showed up waiting for me when it crossed over into Texas, i was 5 states away taking my kid to a amusement park Edit to add: after that she put tracking on his phone, so we'd leave his phone at the house whenever we left to go do something

At first I was trying that, but noticed it was messing with my thoughts on dating and adding to my depression so I had to block em for my own well being, remember one of my homegirls being like "why aint you out more?" And I started talking about how crazy and toxic all these women were and quoting what some of the post were on about and was like woah I gotta get outta there

And to add to it if yall aint married, the kid aint technically yours even if it is, until she signs a legitimatization letter the only right you have is to pay child support Edit to add: if yall are 100% sure the kids yours but you aint gonna get married it's 1000% easier to get her to sign legitimazation papers during the good times vs during the split

There was quite a few subs i left especially after the lockdowns basically because every post turned political toxic, or in one day ud see a guy post something and get down voted and blamed and then later a girl would post the exact same thing and they'd all blame guys and downvote all male replys, I aint got time for that stupid shit no more

I was recently telling a friend going thru a similar situation, those first couple of nights it's the quiet that is deafening and makes u wanna do something stupid, ive been there, cranking the music up trying to check the bottoms of bottles none of it helps

Id like to point out while you would be in the right and justified, she's gonna control that narrative with the kids. Even if you try to tell em the truth or your side first. At the end of the day it's gonna end being "well we can't cuz daddy doesn't love yall as much anymore so he canceled it"

Nah she's gonna want half and drown him in so much debt he'll have to sell his half

Late most of my 30s into early 40s(still there) I wanted a second kid, but as I thought about it and reflected bro my back is fucked from a auto wreck I can't chase a 4 yr old around, when I saw back it also includes my neck and shoulder, I was barely able to teach my kid to catch how's it gonna be 5 yrs from now, 10 even

Not just any lawyer and expensive one, and pull a trick outta their bag and consult every lawyer and give as much detail to everyone as possible

Didn't kno Canada was that bad, but don't think I've heard m(any) divorce stories from there

I wouldn't say they're guiding men to accept bad deals, tho some are both doing that and are lazy, but from what I've seen (especially in like smaller area settings) all these lawyers kno each other and the judges, so they've seen this play out hundreds of times in kinda a "look homie if you don't accept this shitty deal and we get in front of judge x it's gonna be a lot shitter"

Of it doesn't hurt when she says it's their kid, not yours then either ur a sociopath or don't care about ur kid

Hate to be the one to tell you, but it gets worse, like her posting stuff like "can you believe our kid is graduating " then post pictures of her the kid and her newest husband, or asking for family photos of her the kids you and the new husband

That's one thing I've tried to tell people after my divorce, we moved across country after a natural disaster and rebuilt our lives together 10 yrs later she hit me with it, I wasn't jus losing my marriage, but my best friend, the person I told everything to, thd person I sent memes to, the person I first call with good or bad news, most people don't truly understand it til they go thru it

Welcome to the hellscape, I'd say this is one of the big reasons men take the bullet train to the underworld after a divorce, while she's out rebuild and partying every weekend even with the kids, so many of us are out here debate if we can afford to the Ramen tonight for dinner or save for tomorrow night

Sorry bro she's already gone, remember to stay strong a few months down the road when she trys to course correct, cuz what's to stop that feeling of not wanting to be married comes back

We separated back in 2017, and I still think about ending it everyday, of course I don't for the kids, and she chose to end it after I broke my back and can't get a real job anymore so you might have it slightly better then me, but you can always rebuild, and in honesty the rebuild is just going to be a shell

Nope, ive always been a faithful man, and thought it showed my character, but after the dust settled realized it was missed opportunities when women use to throw themselves at me

I am, we were together for almost 20 yrs, with a kid that just turned 18, it was hard at first, extremely hard we couldn't talk for more then a few seconds before getting into a fight, then we got good, then it was like best friends and talked every day, now its were good we might talk or see each other once a week or 2

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
