Either your on some bs or the professor is because... in all of my sociology classes, anatomy and physiology and my neuroscience courses we discuss the hormonal and biological difference between men and woman. Maybe the point that he/she was trying to make was that there shouldn’t be any EXTERNAL factors denying woman from these jobs. A woman works out and is physically capable of a physically strenuous job, she can apply and be held accountable to the same standards in the workplace as a male. …

I attended Catholic school up until high school and yes... the stereotypical “etiquette” was taught in the 21st century. We were not allowed to play kickball with the boys because we had jumpers on and they could get dirty (even having shorts underneath they wouldn’t let us) so plz get out of here. This is dumb. It’s referring to the way boys are allowed to be growing up/ like in elementary and middle school. Like when they make girls cry/ are fighting and kicking one another etc. Not talking about prison populations. When girls are young the social expectation is for us to be OBEDIENT and quiet.
