I personally plan on having children, which is the reason I value marriage. I believe having a solid foundation is really important to build a family on. Honestly if I didn't want kids, I'm not sure if I would want to get married. I think maybe for the legal benefits if I found an amazing man and was with him long-term. But would I date FOR marriage and plan for it and see it as a goal? Probably not.

That's a whole lot more than a relic lol. There's a difference between a picture of him and his ex and a SEX TAPE, which she may not even know he still has. It's not something kept for memory's sake. That's material he uses to get off and it's WEIRD.

My BF and I use condoms but I’m still on birth control because I’m a college student and REALLY don’t want to get pregnant. I have not experienced any side effects though. My heart goes out to the women that do. It’s honestly so incredibly unfair how it is simply an “expectation” men have. Your health comes secondary to their pleasure.

I'm 22 and the amount of girls I know in college that have something like a 70% male following because all they post is provocative pics is INSANE. Listen, I post bikini photos but they're dwarfed by content of my actual life and things I'm passionate about. That being said, I have a lot of friends who have a large following from those sexy pictures. Do you know what ends up happening? They feel like they can't post anything but bikini pics because when they post shit they actually like, they lo…

Absolutely! I'm 22 and I never realized how women older than me were treated by society until I joined FDS. I have always looked up to them and seen them as beautiful and powerful.

Men think being an "independent woman" means you don't ask anything of them. When in reality, it means prioritizing yourself, doing your own thing, and not needing external validation from others.

It's funny how men claim that if you don't want to go 50/50 on dates, you're using them for free food. And then they turn around and PRAISE men like this ??

I cannot say this enough: wanting to be with a man who is financially stable and has a good job is NOT classist. Especially if you yourself have money and are successful in your career. Also, having kids is so expensive these days and if that's something you want, you have every right to look for someone who will be able to afford that. We cannot let people make us feel guilty for wanting stability and security.

Studies have proven that video games increase aggression. I'm in college and I have yet to meet a guy who games a lot that doesn't yell, gets mad easily, or just has a temper overall. It makes them violent. RIP to the babygirl.

As they say: never underestimate your oppressor. If you're a young 21 year old woman and think you're finessing a 50 year old man who was capable enough to become wealthy and has a lot more life experience than you, chances are you're not the one winning here.

Growing up, my mom was a stay-at-home mom and my dad paid 100% of the bills, but he also cooked dinner for us and washed the dishes at least 3 nights a week. He was also a bit of a clean freak and I could not leave a bowl in the sink for 30 seconds without him finding it and washing it before I got the chance to. I'm lucky I had that modelled for me because I cannot imagine a world where I would be with a partner who thinks completing an everyday chore is "a surprise."

As a 15 year old, you cannot consent to a 23 year old. That is assault and abuse. I'm 21 and I wouldn't even think about coming close to an 18 year old guy, let alone a 15 year old child.

By libfem logic, everything Armie did is perfectly fine because it was all consensual. This is why the idea that "if something is consensual, it can't be abuse" is so flawed.

What's scary is that these girls straight out of high school (or even still in hs!) have NO idea the true impact of what they are doing. I'm in college and I know 18 year olds with OFs. They think that it's easy money and that they can keep it a secret if they don't show their faces. They're playing with fire. Once your body is out there, it's out there. No take backs. This is great advice. I think people are forgetting that this sub is called FemaleDatingSTRATEGY. Saying things like "simply don't date men" or "don't do anything" isn't very helpful. While that may be the right choice for you, it is not for all of us. This is a sub dedicated to dating strategies for women... it's what the literal existence of FDS is dedicated to.

I've had many creepy male teacher experiences. I went to a private school growing up where we had to wear uniforms and had a pretty strict dress code. In 8th grade, I had one male teacher (probably in his late 30s early 40s) who would let the boys in first into the classroom and have the girls wait single file outside the corridor. Then he would have us all turn and face the wall and lean against it. He would get this big ruler and measure whether or not our skirts were too short. They could onl…

I don't know if this video has already been posted, but here's the backstory: This is an excerpt from Naya Rivera's book that details her experience dating her co-star Mark Salling who was later outed as a pedophile when the police found child porn on his computer in 2015. He pled guilty, but he, the coward he was, took his own life in 2018 before he could be sentenced. I wanted to share because damn... all the red flags that he was a LVM and trash human were there right from the beginning.

I'm so down for a left-right coalition to get rid of this website. Unfortunately, libfems will never get onboard. Isn't cuckholding the thing where the man jerks off in the corner while his partner sleeps with another man? That sounds like it's for the male pleasure to me. I have never heard of women enjoying humiliating their partners like that. I mean, I'm sure there are some out there, but I've always heard that it's the men who enjoy it and seek it out. After all, they're the ones getting off from it. Either way, it's far from mainstream! I barely know what it is. This man seems to be stuck in his littl…

I've learned to be stoic when it comes to men, especially toxic men that I barely know. They cannot decipher between positive or negative attention. To them, it's just attention. Even if you have every right to react emotionally, if you do, you are showing him how much power he has over you. Men know if you didn’t care about them, you wouldn’t be upset and waste time arguing, reprimanding him, or clapping back. A lot of men enjoy getting under your skin and going back and forth. Their egos feed …

My notes from FDS: "One of the most important traits a man wants in a woman is ability to expresses gratitude. Since they are providers and want to build for you, feeling that appreciation is important. Think of gratitude as their love language. Thank him for opening the door for you, for grabbing you lunch, for doing little things. Men need and desire this. If he is adding value to your life, let him know and make him feel that. Make him feel needed and cherished. The most important thing is to…

You see, my boyfriend loves to snort cocaine and gamble. I don't try to control his cocaine use because that would be immature of me. Who am I to determine how he gets his dopamine release? And his gambling problem? It would insecure of me to control what he can and can't experience. I trust him when he says he doesn't have an addiction, even though he can't stop and his behaviours are harming his life, his health, and our relationship.

To be honest, I’m always ready to walk away in every relationship, even with friends and family. The vetting never stops, in my mind. It’s not like I’m walking around suspicious and not trusting people though. To me, being on your toes just means that when you do spot a red flag or someone gives you a reason to walk away, that you’re willing and prepared to do so. Mentally and emotionally, my bags are always packed. The way I do that is by getting my happiness from a lot of different sources, so…

RPW are the ones getting pregnant and doing this and that to try and trick men into marriage. They buy into the same beliefs as red-pill guys and pick up artists, and use tactics to force men into relationships. FDS philosophy is against forcing, tricking, or manipulating men into doing things they don't want to do! What we are about is finding men that want to meet our standards.

I recognize the technique he used, so I'm just going to leave some knowledge here in case it is helpful to you ladies. What this man did is called pre-framing. The way you "frame" (set up) what you say can color someone's emotional understanding and response to it. So pre-framing is essentially a frame you present before (or with) information, so that the information itself is interpreted in relationship to it. This technique is used a lot in sales. For example, say you are wedding dress shoppin…

I'm pretty spiritual so I've dated a couple of guys like this. My issue with some of them is that they have this idea that you need to accept them the way they are. They think love is acceptance and should be unconditional. If you put conditions and restrictions in place, then you are not honoring them and supporting them on their journey. Any fantasy that is violent and harms another human being is dangerous and should not be normalized. Drinking and smoking are vices. No HVM would complain about a woman not drinking or smoking. So many of them would commend you and respect you even more. I'll have wine if I'm at a fancy dinner or a cocktail with my girlfriends on a night out, but I do subscribe to the belief that people who drink and smoke regularly are trying to numb themselves. They're looking for an escape and a distraction, which leads me to believe they're unhappy with their lives. Who would purposefully go out of their wa…

It's like if 1 out of 5 berries are poisonous. It does not matter if a lot, or even the majority, of berries are safe to eat. If you pick the wrong berry, you die. We have to assume all berries are poisonous for our own safety. You have to generalize, inspect it closely, and then consume it. It is a tool of survival.

What do you do when he uses one of those terms? I’m 21 so that’s the lingo these days. Should I straight up say, “Are you asking me out on a date?” Edit: Or maybe saying “as friends? Or like a date?” 🤔

One month? Get out of here. I 100% support only moving in when you're engaged. That way you can still live with them for a bit before marriage if you want to so you can really vet this person and make sure you're compatible, but are not trapped into "playing wifey" forever. I think a lot of us have seen how damaging it is to live with someone before any sort of real long-term commitment and future wedding plans. It may be seen as "traditional" point of view, but I think that if you're living tog…

My sister's LV ex had four dogs, these huge mixed-breed dogs, and they were very aggressive. Dude turned out to be a total psychopath. I'm pretty sure he beat his dogs. Obviously dogs need discipline, but anyone who hits or yells at their dog for doing little things is an automatic red flag for me. It's a sign they have zero patience. If he takes his anger out on his dog, why wouldn't he eventually take it out on you? If he hits his dog, why wouldn't he eventually hit you? I also met a guy once …

Reminds me of something that happened to one of my best friends. She told me that her bf (who also happened to be slightly chubby, funny enough) kept "joking" about her boobs. Saying things like, "I don't mind when you don't go out without a bra because you can't see anything. If you had boobs, then it'd bother me" and joked that she was "representing the itty bitty titty committee." It made her so insecure, she went and got a breast augmentation. A year or so after that, she told me that they w…

This is so interesting, and I feel like it's good advice. My cousin is married to a HVM who didn't leave his city because he worked a high-paying job and she lived in a smaller town. He has no family in his city either, but he offered to relocate her retired parents. He offered to let them stay at one of the houses he owned just outside the city. I remember thinking... I don't know. They're going to be living under HIS roof? In a house HE paid for? 🤔My aunt and uncle declined, but my cousin did …

I don't think lube should be used at all unless you're with your partner and that's what you choose to do. The fact that he doesn't even try at all is the most frustrating part. If a woman is not aroused, you shouldn't just put lube and jam it up in there with no attempt to turn her on. That is not pleasurable. If a man is not aroused, you wouldn't try to stick it in and make him have sex anyway, right? For a FWB situation, why would anyone tolerate a man who does not even care if they're turned…

Just because something is unethical, it doesn't mean it should be illegal. Maybe if a serious STD was involved and was knowingly given to someone. Both genders lie about silly things involving sex. I'd say men probably lie more, but I don't sleep with women so I don't know what kind of lies they'd be telling.

It will absolutely crash eventually.... the question is how many women will become millionaires until then. The only reason I don't mind OF is because I think free online porn should seize to exist. It hurts everyone. Children have access to it. Young people are developing porn addictions. The workers are not being properly compensated and at times are abused. It should absolutely be 18+ and behind a paywall. Even if it like $1 a month, no kid is going to put their parents' credit card info in O…

I'm not going to argue with a man about the check. If he doesn't pay for me on the first date, I'm simply never seeing him again. We are just different people looking for different things. I should be with a man who's views align with mine and he should be with a woman who's views align with his. I always offer because it's the polite thing to do, but I expect him to pay on the first date. I heard someone say once (Matthew Hussey I think?) "If she doesn't offer to pay, she wasn't raised right. I…

In my personal opinion (I tend to be a private person), your family and friends shouldn't know what your standards are in the first place. My family, love, and social life are in separate, neat little corners and seldom intersect. I don't tell my friends and family anything about the guy I'm dating until we're official, but even then I only talk about him freely with my three best friends. They're pretty understanding after I explain the logic behind my thinking. Aside from them, I don't want pe…
