What? Why?? That’s petty as fuck and accomplishes nothing but leaving a bad taste in her mouth. Not to mention the next time another woman asks her about what happened - she says you’re a petty asshole and now your shot with any other woman they talk to about you. Women talk. A lot. Would you rather have her telling women that she made a mistake letting you go? Or that you couldn’t handle the breakup and lashed out with rude/mean comments - you’ll just confirm that she’s doing the right thing in…

Well you kind of have to care now that you’re stuck on the same house.

I know I’m late - I’m so sorry for your loss, words can’t describe how terrible that situation is and I hope you find peace. Whatever you do, do not hide your feelings in a bottle. That will only guarantee more problems for you and the people around you. As painful as this is, please allow yourself to feel it. If you turn to drugs/alcohol now, you will only delay those feelings coming back. Stay safe and healthy ❤️

Can confirm. Grew up in a family with money problems and a dad that drank too much and a mom who made excuses for it. Lots of resentment, arguing, distrust, and a general aura of unease/tenseness. Sure, the three of us are in our 30’s now and have careers and significant others, but only one of us has a healthy relationship with alcohol. My brother and I on the other hand are lucky to have lived through our fuck-up years.

To an extent - yes, but in general I’m of the opinion that groupthink is not a great way to live your life. Nothing that you read on here can replace the lessons you learn out in the world. I’ve gained some valuable info from TRP related communities, mostly to your point about self improvement and focusing on your own path in life. A lot of people confuse this with being wholly self-centered though, which is pretty problematic if you’re looking to have a healthy long term relationship and a good…

One of my good friends was dating this girl that would randomly take off in the middle of the night during a party and go home by herself. Eventually she started doing weird shit like showed up with all her hair cut super short, would cause fights between them all the time, etc. In the end it was pretty obvious that she wanted to end it, but didn’t have the stomach to follow through, and so was acting in a way where she would hopefully be broken up with to let her off the hook.

I just got a year sober myself. Being an alcoholic was NOT good for my game. Congratulations on your recovery and even though you say it doesn't mean shit, I totally disagree. In the grand scheme of things, it's a big deal and you should be proud.

Oh pretty please can I have the opportunity to take your hormonal cheating fat ass away from that mean army ranger who is so annoying by doing his job defending our country.

Honestly, my go to in the summer is outdoor flea market. It sounds weird but it is a jackpot. hear me out. You get to walk around and check out random stuff people are selling. It's almost impossible to have a lull in conversation as each booth holds the opportunity for a story, question, or interesting thing to laugh about. It really is a story time goldmine. You can buy little dumb gifts for $5, $1, and they hold sentimental value from your first date. You can also learn a lot about what she l…

One night I went to a party. A girl who I did not know aggressively began making out with me in the kitchen. My friend (rip) thought he would. E hilarious and he had told her I was an Italian foreign exchanged student. I was not. She then took a 40 oz beer bottle and threw it at my head. She screamed and cried and threw a fit. She literally followed me around for the entire night telling me I was an asshole a rapist and a liar. I only did one thing all night! I literally only showed up at my fri…

The olympics exist in order for us to judge, critique, admire the world's greatest bodies. The Romans were naked. I think everyone needs to lighten up.

This exact incident happened to a kid a grew up with. He was class president and had gotten into Harvard. Played guitar, Organized all of our music shows when I was in high school. He went to the vineyard the summer that he was supposed to go to school. Some 15 year old girl used a fake ID to get into an 18+ club and gave him a bj in the woods. Apparently her cousin told on her and when her grandparents confronted her she said, "well I really didn't want to, I was pretty much forced into it." Gu…

"I'm facing this head on." You mean you got caught after a year. "I don't ever want to see that person again, I do not want him to contact me." Well isn't that convenient for you.
