Generally, the media reports such systematic killings with gender-neutral language by referring to them as civilian massacres. Here's an exception. 1	The Gender Wage Gap is well publicized, but what about the Gender Unemployment Gap? I think the gender wage gap could be greatly reduced with one thing: "mandatory paid paternity leave." Not maternity, paternity. If businesses see that men also have "time off" liabilities with new children then they won't have any reason to favor them. 1	The things my friends post on Facebook... I hate the "stranger dangers" culture. If that was a lost kid in the mall, s/he would be perfectly safe with me or the starbucks baristo, or the bored guy standing outside of Victoria's secret. If it's not an ad for beer, a car, or a power tool, it's an ad targeting women, because women are the ones spending the money.
