I know. I know the right thing to do, I'm just being weak with her physically present. I guess I knew that this sub would smack some sense into me, which is what I need for even entertaining the thought. Have her getting on a plane out of here and I'm determined to end this thing once and for all. I clearly did not conquer my Oneitis and I am trying to hamster away what she did just because I got some strange during our separation too. You're right: fuck being Plan B.

I've realized I have codependency issues. I was with my wife for 10 years, from age 22 through 32. She was my whole world...so even when I see the abundance around me now it is so hard to break seeing my wife as this magical unicorn. Like I literally feel nothing fucking new women. No feelings other than physical. I need to get used to the "new normal" of being single and focusing on abundance rather than building up one woman as so important and special in my mind.

Congrats on the flat, man. See, I already had the bachelor pad and was starting to spin plates then she appears in my life again like a ghost and it undid all of that illusory progress I thought I made. I had been seeing a new girl and felt happy about life. Then the stitches got ripped out and I'm swimming in my own weakness again.

Jesus, man. Your story cut me to the core. I am codependent. You nailed it. Fuck. Sounds like you're going through your own battle. I hope you are able to move past this, too.

I'm sure you don't remember but you gave me feedback/advice that was just as insightful as this a year ago when I was mustering up the courage to leave her the first time. So thank you again for responding. I'm trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with me. I guess co-dependence is probably the answer, which I can grasp on a logical level. But, it feels so wrong to leave her when she is physically here and begging to atone for everything she's done. Crying and hyperventilating from the fea…

Thank you. Looked that up and that post from Rollo is dead on specific to my situation. I'm behaving like a woman, focusing on the present breakfast and blowjobs in bed instead of long term self-respect and peace of mind.

I know, man. You're right. I am weak right now and even though I can run this problem through the "What would a rational, healthy man do?" Test and know this conclusion, my mind is splintered because of that weakness.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
