Exactly. Marriage is pretty much only a benefit for the girl. This is the huge problem with marriage. If you stay together, you keep getting better and girls get worse. As the years go by, she gets uglier and less interested in sex, sometimes before men even reach their prime. Otherwise it's divorce and that's not good for us either.

The best relationships do have a domination aspect to it. One has more power than the other, and men should have more power than women. When there are two guys together, how do you solve that problem? Unless one becomes more effeminate and gives up power, and I can't of any reason why someone would actually want to do that, then it probably will end badly. I don't understand how the mother could have possibly agreed with the wife. This girl had the full intent of using the "father" just as a way to get money for her. That guy did the right thing by walking out. I'm sure if he ending up cheating on her, she would be telling the wife to divorce him and take all his money to "teach him a lesson"
