My ultimate dream would be to become a psych A psych...iatrist? or ...ologist? Presuming the former, I think you overestimate how much power a Psychiatrist has, some of your patients are going to be so dark triad, so manipulative and Machiavellian, yet at the same time so charming, that you wonder if these people wouldn't have become the next Jordan Belfort if they weren't so dumb that they wound up in the psych ward.

Yes, any MD can specialise in Psychiatry, but it's only for people who studied Medicine and went through med school. That said, a PhD in Psychology or Neuroscience would be very useful indeed to an aspiring Psychiatrist.

We need a lot more context for this one, being a legitimate female virgin at 32 seems like a bit of a red flag....

That's why you have modern martial arts like Krav Maga and Systema that specifically prepare you for fighting dudes with guns and knives/blunt weapons. Seems like a weak excuse to not practice anything whatsoever.

I remember reading the post of a dude on TRP who briefly (for a year or so) went on hormones as MtF. He did describe a lot of interesting psychological changes, both of his own and of how other people started treating him/her differently, but he aborted the thing in the middle of the process, so we will never know if it only goes some of the way or if it eventually goes all of the way.

Coming from someone who has experience with both, I can tell you that they are essentially 95% the same for most purposes. The largest difference is that Starting Strength is more focused on a future in Powerlifting specifically, whereas Stronglifts 5x5 let's you branch out to other forms of strength sports more readily.
