Do you view yourself as an object too? Do you have any remorse when you treat yourself like shit?

What is your nature, I'm curious. Tell me about your relationships. Have you ever experienced love?

Yea, you need to move on too haha. One past is bad enough, you want to take on the mantle of both of your pasts. Looks like you haven't suffered enough due to past. You have got time and life will give you opportunities. It's only starting for you, suffering starts. One day you will look back and think what have I done. No, relationships are what you make it. You treat it as a transaction, you get one. Start with your nature. Learn about it.

You may get what you want from a relationship which also makes you feel how uncaring nature is. Is your relationship transactional? When people move on completely, relationships are blank slates.

That's not what your partner wants. They broke up for a reason. She is moved on from her past and you can't? Don't you see a problem here? She is choosing you and wants to live with you. Open your eyes. Every new relationship is a blank slate, write your own beautiful story. Stop comparison and then see how caring nature is. Observe how comparison aka fairness is making your life miserable and snap out of it.

Fairness? A new relationship is a blank slate. Write your own story, build your own life. Fairness, in your context is comparison, which is again, a disease.

Point is you may be incompetent to do that. The previous partner could be a cuck, would you be capable of being a competent cuck? Or the previous partner can be a bdsm specialist, would be competent to be a bdsm specialist ? Comparison is a disease, a psychological one.

100%, we, as human race need to revisit this whole " love" thing.

Agreed, that's why I refuse to believe anyone who says that they "love". They love the image of the man or woman they have in their mind. Not the real person, I think that's what the op is trying to convey very unsuccessfully.

India has had no sexual revolution or something like the 60's in usa. There's no sex education in schools. It's a back ward society. What you mention are all true. It's significantly poorer country, love is still frowned upon. It's a different society. The concept of autonomy for a woman is considered radical in some parts of India even today

It's poverty. Men they think will earn some money and support the family.Women they need to marry them off by paying a dowry, so they consider them as a burden. But that's changing now with more education and arranged marriage dynamics.

No. People glorify attraction too much. It's nice to be anonymous.

Why as a heterosexual man, are you thinking about attractive men? Leave it to women?

Settled for? Didn't she exercise her free will and choose you over everyone? How is that settling? Are you implying that the guy forces a woman into a relationship when you say settled for?

We know. Why would older men desire younger women anyway? We prefer someone closer to our age

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
