I assume children die because of the conditions of the facility, the skill of the doctor, etc. Not necessarily because of the procedure. While I am sure there is some mortality rate for it, I bet you have a better chance of dying from getting your wisdom teeth taken out vs getting a circumcision. EDIT: Again, not flaming, just really trying to understand all the hate for them. In the US I believe the majority of men are circumcised at birth.
