It's not a front really, it's practice. You practice being alpha until it seems--or simply is--natural. I think we need to reframe "fake it until you make it". There's nothing fake about making an earnest effort to be better with women. That said, it's up to you if it's even worth practicing. Just realize that if you regret not having the skill later in life, that's all on you.

Yeah, but they're not content to live and let live. They want to change society to make themselves feel better. I think the point of this subreddit is more to turn social expectation on its head, to realize certain ways in which society is conditioning us to act counter-productive to what we want and need when it comes to sex and relationships. Yeah, a lot of it deals with worst-case scenarios in the dating world--cheating, divorce, emasculation, etc--but sometimes a rude awakening is what's needed.
