Everyone blew up on me! It just sucks to be a part of a community for so long and have everyone turn against you at the same time. Sorry I was such an asshole in my response, this is just frustrating. I have people pm'ing me and following my comment history. I have an instant downvote on new comments. Everything that isn't archived yet has been downvoted. People are really angry out of nowhere. Something that was really small and insignificant for me is a really big deal for everyone else.

They are coddled by society because they are seen as lesser. Real feminism fights that view, and wants women to be held accountable for their actions alongside men. Also, all women and men have the potential to be equal in every way besides physical, obviously. You may be right that men and women aren't going to ever be seen as equal (at least at this rate), but that doesn't mean that it has to be that way.

That doesn't mean it's a matriarchy. Sexism against women effects women as well as men, albeit a little less severe. If women were perceived as equals instead of weak, emotional creatures, men wouldn't be exploited by this kind of thing. We very much live in a male dominated society, but that doesn't always spell out fortune for men. It hurts everybody. The tumblr sjw/feminazis you see aren't what real feminism stands for.
