I'm pretty sure the last time this was posted, it was determined that "Juan" was actually the poster's father, and not her baby daddy. So Juan paid for boots and a manicure for his daughter.

I got downvoted, but I don't think I lost. No one answered my questions besides the occasional "nuh-uh!"

LOL YOU ARE DOING A BETTER JOB OF PROVING MY POINT THAN THE POST YOU POSTED 1) Dear feminists, here are some things I think feminists do. 2) They don't actually do them, but they prove my point that I think feminists are wrong. 3) I think these things are wrong and you are wrong for believing in them, even though I pulled it all out of my ass to prove a fallacious point. 4) WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS??? YOU FEMINISTS ARE HINDERING PROGRESS BY NOT BELIEVING IN THESE THINGS I SAY YOU BELIEVE IN AND T…

I didn't move the goalposts at all. That post proves exactly the point I was trying to make. Namely, unjust vilification as potential rapists, unjust vilification as potential child molesters/rapists, the close association between rapists and men (sure, statistically most rapists might be men, but that doesn't mean we need to classify rapists as men in general), and some others. "So basically, I think you feminists are totally wrong about everything but why can't we be friends?"

provide an example of an MRA asking a feminist that question in earnest, allowing them to respond, and not coming back with some sort of counter-accusation or justification and I'll admit you have a point. I have never seen one example of a self-professed MRA asking a question in good faith

they haven't, but pretending they had, do you think it would be a stupid question for me to go, "Gee, why is it that the MRM hates feminism so much??"

I'm trying to say that when there are two sides to a debate--and trying to figure out who is to blame for that divide is irrelevant to my point--it's kind of pointless to say to your team, "man, just why IS it that they hate us so much?" Do you really going to think you're going to get an answer to why Chevy makes such terrible cars if you only as your colleagues you work with at Dodge?

Isn't that exactly what this post is? He's not asking feminists why they dislike the MRM, he's asking other MRAs. You guys want to be a circlejerk, fine. But don't act all fake-indignant when your question is answered by the text that appears when your mouse hovers over a /r/mensrights tab.

if that's what men think, then they should spend some more time listening to feminists instead of assuming their intentions are hostile.

the fucking subtitle of this reddit is "earning scorn from bigoted feminists and white knights since 2008." This post reminds me of a bully who spends all year poking a kid on a bus and then acts surprised and outraged when, on the last day of class, that kid finally retaliates. WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN YOU CONSTANTLY INSULT PEOPLE, R/MR?

Cooperation is not invading threads on r/2XC and hijacking any discussion about femininity, or female oppression, and reminding everyone that men have it bad too. Cooperation is not idly wondering why feminists are so terrible and are so opposed to the MRM, when within the last few months you declared that there was an international feminist conspiracy against you directly on your sidebar, and the top three comments on this very post are about how terrible, pointless, or self-pitying the feminis…

why are you telling me this?
/r/MensRights29/06/12 08:27 PM

All of the things on the sidebar link to communities on the internet. I have never seen the MRM do anything legitimate in law or activism that did not in some way take place on the internet, unless you count the guy who lit himself on fire outside of a courthouse.

what does the MRM do outside of an internet context?

you didn't answer my question in the first half of your post, then you patronized me in the second. I think my point still stands. ETA: also, lol at criticizing us for "getting mad at people on the internet" as if that isn't the core tenet of the MRM.

you're not even bothering reading what I write before condescending me. You MRAs get farther and farther away from reality with each passing day. News is there's water on Mars, which is good, because that's where you're all going to float away to soon.

nice backpedal there bro. Hey, you're dumb, no wait I am above this petty conflict I AM SUPERIOR TO YOU AND GRACEFULLY BOW OUT OF THIS DEBATE

how is that productive at all? How does that do anything at all for this conversation? You guys claim that you don't end up on SRS anymore, as if that in itself is some sort of accomplishment, and then I explain that a policy was instituted banning r/mr posts because almost literally everything you say is worth being on SRS, and you call me stupid? Please, tell me how insulting my intelligence does anything to prove that our policy is misplaced.

you make it so easy to find stuff that we had to ban you. our whole page was full of stuff from /r/mister so we had to ban you. It's like how hunting dodo birds was so easy even though the meat was gamey. Made them go extinct and no one had a good meal.

If it was up to me, we'd round them up in concentration camps and force them to work in factories so that America could once again become the undisputed global champion on the manufacturing front. um it still is like your sarcasm isn't even factually accurate, how do you live with yourself

men have nipples because sex doesn't differentiate in the womb until the second trimester. So hate women all you want, but get this through your MRA head: YOU WERE ONE ONCE

Yes, anyone with a 2.5 or better is a national merit scholar. I think you're thinking of National Honor Society. National Merit Scholars are scholarship recipients who score in the 99th percentile on the PSAT in their state and then go through an application process. 8,000 HS Srs. achieve this each year.
