The issue is not only the money imbalance but many men still want a woman to do traditional 1950 things such as laundry, cook, child rearing, housekeeping. There is no incentive to take on those additional task and work to pay 1/2 the bills for the joy of love and companionship. Men did make more money but also were mainly tasked with chores that were labor intensive but not frequent. The woman had more time because work was either part time, basic, or they stayed home. For example, mowing the l…

Yet still single, why did none of those work out? If you are so happy why spend time mentioning it?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/24 01:36 PM

Depends on why you got fired. Many people are habitually shifty workers and by not really doing your best or even quickly seeking employment is different than you cant make yourself healthier faster.

Women realized if they took providing out of the equation they were not happy with what was left for men to offer. men rely solely on financial status being higher to obtain and keep a woman. Surveys and statistics have long proven the woman does the bulk of the family chores from shopping, cooking, cleaning, kid rearing. This was a badge of honor and literally a personality. Now those things can be readily outsourced without as much stigma so she needs her own interest. Why is being a financial…

Agree on the difference. Disagree on the shame. The uptight is on both sides; the same uptight men get when coming to the realization that status and wealth as a measure to provide are desired the same way women realize beauty standards matter more than career choices. I was more speaking to the hypocrisy of “women are hardwired” to seek financial stability through a male partner but get called gold diggers for seeking this.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 06:06 PM

But the ones that get it themselves are equally shamed for doing what is considered manly

I am not a feminist either and I dont think most woman can or even want to do everything men do and vice versus. I also agree we are different. However, relegating us to office duties is an insult in my opinion because there are many military skill sets (outside of paper pushing) that are based on training and not strength. In the military working side by side is not a competition of who can do it better but a lets pick the best person for the job). I would assume (from speaking to those in the …

From my understanding if they have no family available it is a disqualifier even for those that want to enlist or be deployed. I dont think the government would want the burden or cost of foster care for those children and the backlash would be insane. The draft should only be instituted in case of an alien invasion. /jk

“There are people who do it without family support” yes and they are not deployed. Personally i dont agree with a draft at all. i agree with if we have one it should not only select men. People who chose to sign up (men or women) are making a choice to potentially leave their children without a parent (not here to debate that point). Most (IMO) didnt plan to be single parents so if they are doing it alone with no family then what? But is your position that those that are drafted shouldnt be if t…

Really looking objectively, if this did pass (which im all for) they will have to address more comprehensively. From reading other comments it sounds like you have to have a care plan to leave your kids with other people and thats just not possible for a vast majority of single parents. Especially those who did not plan to be in the military.

Exactly. I am a women and totally agree. Im not in the military, but i wonder how they handle single parents? (Genuine question). That can be an issue for both men and women but the woman can not know or list a father where he cant do the same.

If this is true then men should understand why women want to wait to have sex in a relationship and spend more time getting to know the person.

“Most will attack you for not dating black men.” For me this same group be the ones with LVM - cheating husbands, men with 5 baby mommas, abusive, etc. I want to say sis you want to lecture me when you fighting to keep a bottle of the barrel dude. No thanks

In my opinion, I think its also important for us to remember while we are all queens we are not better than. Also that we shouldnt employee the same tactics we complain about LVM using.

I agree with you. It is healthy and human nature to want affirmation and its ok to support your partner as you want to be supported. What I was more referring to is men who’s identity solely rely on your pretending they are more than what they are. They have to accept themselves and want better for themselves. I can not and should not have to spend the entirety of the relationship picking his ego up because I am taking care of business, it gets exhausting. Its like a kid riding a bike, normally …

And the worst is when they say you dont support us black men. So its my job to raise you and give you a participation trophy for showing up to society. I get its hard as a black man, I get the struggle is real my brother but dont get it twisted that its now my burden to shoulder to single handedly make you feel worthy all the while you trample all over cause I dont support you being a sound cloud rapper. Whew no thanks bro.

Thats what this means. I dont need a relationship to fulfill my loneliness. We have to be ok with ourselves. We should not seek companionship solely out of boredom or being lonely because it can make you accept things you would not otherwise. My chose to be single is my own because I wanted growth and personal acceptance before choosing to be with a man. However, do I get lonely, absolutely but as you mentioned I deal with it with friends, family, work, school, crafts, and a whole host of other …

Mine (in an almost exact scenario) pulled me aside after and said I am supposed to always remain impartial but you married a man child. You either accept it or move on now before you get more invested (more kids, $, etc)

I think the point is not to make it your job. Be supportive, help if they ask, encourage “good” behavior and stay if you feel there is a positive change. However, many woman make it a point to enter into situations with hope that person will become who they want. Either accept them and love them or dont but trying to force a change is never good for either party.

And for every little change he makes, no matter how superficial, she will go to the end of the earth to prove to him she is the one. Now he has her hooked. And the guilt he puts on when something doesnt go his way, making it all her fault for not loving him enough.

Thats the sad part. They make you think you are crazy for not loving snd putting up with their BS.

Im 38 and recently had a 36 year say to me “how will I know if we are compatible”. What if we dont like each other. It kills me that grown men cant find any other value in me besides sex.

Agreed. Its a stigma and embarrassment with a man especially since she was a stripper. Not to mention it took decades before women came forward against cosby.

tell that to trump. I agree doesnt matter. Ex was in for 10 yrs and always said “they put their panties and briefs on the same as me”

there are plenty of cases where the “proof” was not there and the prosecutor hinged on what they thought happened and circumstantial evidence. Like a case with no body. They have his finger prints, motive, and other evidence. Good thing she didnt disappear.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
