You are so right! The men who say they "aren't financially stable yet" are making excuses. Unless he plans on making you a housewife, he doesn't see a future with you... Getting married shouldn't hinder progression of finances. I love your quote: "If anything combining assets probably makes things a lot cheaper and you'll end up becoming more financially stable as a married couple." Amen to that!

Girl get out of the house and work! 2 incomes will lessen the burden and get you doing things outside of childcare... You'll be able to afford childcare

I want to be married before I'm 25 but my future looks bleak. You're setting yourself up for failure. My mom is African so you can imagine the pressure of marriage and career but dating is supposed to be fun! Try online dating with the goal of understanding men and yourself, if they make you feel miserable dump them. Date as much as possible so you don't accept and marry a loser out of desperation. Try boosting your self esteem with therapy (your uni might offer it) and read books on dating with…

I don't know if you're religious, but there are plenty of religious men that wouldn't mind you being a virgin and older (it shows higher morals/discipline I guess since most women lose it by then)

I'm (22) waiting until marriage, I will not budge! My womb is not free and worth more than risking diseases and no commitment

Women with high sex drives will never be satisfied. We should be the more disciplined sex... If it's so important, maybe break up with him if you're sexually incompatible

Exactly! They should have talked about this before, although people do change their minds as the kids start rolling in... I wouldn't want my husband resenting me or the 3rd child he didn't want

Divorce or therapy? If you have children, they will emulate their parents. Take care of yourself for your childrens sake and maybe get your husband help...

Y'all really dating for years without a ring (I'm so sorry) after 6 months I'm breaking up if he's not serious... Otherwise you're wasting 4x as much of your life

To me, any man on instagram is a red flag... They know it's easy to slide in DM's and leave lazy comments. All they need is LinkedIn haha but that's just what I've observed

I don't get why women brag about getting men to sleep with them... Men will sleep with anything??? I've told many I'm waiting until marriage and they provably wait to see how long it will take (which is dumb on their part) but it keeps them trying I guess

How did you meet? If it's through church than that's a whole other story... I'm very happy for you and this is so inspiring because it shows you don't need to date someone for years hoping he will finally propose!

Just the thought of me having sex with a man and not being committed... disgusts me. Men can really "pump and dump" after "courting" you for so long. If you've met these men online then that increases the risk of detachment from seeing you as a person > picture :(

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
