don't do any fishing for info about whether or not she is expecting you to come over afterwards. just be prepared to head to her place afterwards, and proceed as if that is what's happening unless she stops you. also, definitely suggest a place in her hood to go to even though you already sent that first text.

Yes, this is the best way to start. It has the added benefit of giving you a reason to lean in close in order to speak quietly so as not to be overheard speaking about the other people around you. If the first person you pick is close to you it adds to the excitement of having to have a more secret conversation.

Agree with comments affirming "lets get out of here" was best option in this situation. If it's more of an 'on the fence' feeling, maybe if it's a girl you've just met that night for example, you could ask some questions that relate to the logistics of leaving together without being direct. Something like "how many of your friends do you have to make sure get home safe tonight?" It's not going to tilt the scales in your favor, but if she's entertaining the possibility of leaving with you it lets…

I read about a psychologist, I think this was in Influence, who had an interesting method for treating severe phobia.
