Also if you're going to use the drug analogy you could just as easily use the kitten and yarn analogy. Dangle yarn in front of a kitten and take it away from them and they'll go crazy for it. Simply give them the yarn and they're done with it before you know it. Point being, it depends on how you look at it. Idk about female firefighters, but I do believe there's a flip side to having female officers in place. While they won't be as good on the fitness tests, I believe they are much less likely to 'white knight' or let off female criminals e.g. girls who cry crocodile tears to get out of everything from simple traffic tickets to domestic violence. That relates to another phenomenon regarding race. It is also not uncommon for a minority cop to treat their own race harder than other cops, as a means of demonstrating that they "don't see race" i.e. look at me i'm hard on black people and i'm black so I'm not racist.
