Oh yeah, we all want it all. When you're freshly single you get to be choosier but don't let that keep you from trying a date with a few less-than-perfect people. You may be surprised! When I was still dating, I was set on someone taller than I was with red hair and green eyes and a mature/serious/mysterious character. I also prefer slender men and absolutely no ARMY men. I hated the Army. Anyway, I ended up with a 5' 8'' black haired, brown eyed, short and stocky army mechanic. He's as immature…

Female here but I can tell you that eye contact has always gotten me dates with the guys I wanted. You lock eyes for a solid 3 seconds, smile and look away. Wait a bit and do it again. If he smiles at you it's an open invitation, if he quickly turns away then you're probably not what he's looking for (a lot of guys go for one-nighters so if you appear to be more stable they may not be interested, which may not be a bad thing for you). I can tell you that everything you want in a man- be prepared…

It depends on the cause of depression. If you're personally unbalanced, there's nothing anyone could do to possibly get you there. They may create an illusion of balance but until you attack your own internal problems, it will eventually show. You can also be unbalanced as a result of a bad relationship with someone. You may do things to overcompensate for their lack of balance which will throw you out of whack as well. When you move away from these people, you tend to regain your balance as you…

It may be something simple you do like standing a little too close, staring a little too long, or some small trigger that sets some red flags off. Typically even if you are a bad person, but exude confidence, other people tend to trust you anyway. There may be other reasons, for example, you have similar body language/facial expressions/etc of dangerous people. After being attacked, I have an irrational fear of british people and he had a particular smirk that if I see out and about will lead to…

One technique doesn't work for all women. Maybe it's your attitude. If you come off as snobby/rude/just trying to get laid, most women won't think it's worth their time. I'd suggest being a little reserved and charming. Try just making eye contact and smiling a few times before approaching, offer to buy her a drink first, or even if you're approaching one specific attractive woman- include her friends on the conversation for a minute so she can get approval from them on you.

Cute idea, but be careful who you approach. If you intentionally approach less attractive people for this game then you are running the risk of running their self esteem even further in the ground because they will think you take them as a joke. On the plus side, you could find a person with excellent self esteem and good humour and get lucky tonight :) I hope you get some good opening ideas from the brilliant minds of Reddit!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
