Ikr. My friend needed money for expenses and such, but refused to 'lower himself to their level' by waitering. At that point of time he was tutoring but got flaked often by the parents. After suggesting one too many times I gave up when I realise that he does not want the money enough to change his ways.

My friend has a hairline crack along the length of his shin due to traffic accidents and he cannot run very far without worsening the pain. Is there any cardio you would recommend for him?

That could work. But if what Dave experienced previously is to be believed, it would be the real life version of the conversation. They would meet at a location, unable to decide where to eat and waste half an hour 'deciding'.

I faced the irrationality of 3 girls (most responsible teenager in the house) in a group chat recently. There were 5 of us, 2 guys, 3 girls. We set a date to meet for dinner. Now the guy, we'll call him Dave, suggests a location. He also mentioned that if anyone disagrees, s/he would have to come up with a suggestion. Sounds fair enough right? Wrong. The girls still gave inane responses such as 'anything cheaper?' , 'how about XYZ part of town?' (As opposed to suggesting a restaurant ABC) which …

Is there any way to turn around the view of a group of friends that have essentially seen me as a BP beta bitch into somebody that can be respected? I don't know how to show that I have boundaries and limits too. In the past when I'm pushed over my limit I just explode all the pent up emotions, in a very bad way.

He and his IB friend from another bank collaborated on the side to do this. They poached a highly skilled chef to run operations as their partner and they inject money and ideas. Just that the way he does things is really on an inner P/L statement when sometimes all you really need to do is to maintain a proper working relationship with a supplier to get what you want. /rant

Much of the people that work in finance have no actual business or investing skills. They are simply good at schmoozing clients, and view money as the only important thing. Personally, I'd rather know as much about real business as I can, not just how to get more commissions out of a client. Very much this. It is off topic but I see this in my current boss who is an IB and started this restaurant business which I'm working for. They have no basic business sense, and it is all about dollars and c…

This reminds me of the oneitis I used to have. Pining for her in my home country while she goes to Brazil to figure out her life (and forfeits her V-card) When she is finally back, I thought I would have a chance because of what almost happened before she flew off. But she is a totally changed woman. Going on okcupid dates and getting free dinners like a lady (her words), and being a feminist when it benefits her. The worst thing is she is the person who introduced me to TRP on a skypecall when …

I have tried that way previously by stating what I want and then not taking her bullshit excuses. But other situations include times when me (or other colleagues) tried to teach her how to do something the right way, she would moan and sulk that we are scolding her. On the other spectrum of crazy, when we are scolding her for her genuine mistake (which is never her fault, AWALT), she would laugh straight at our face like its a joke. Man, its like being played a fool on a day to day basis. *edit:…

Ah, I can relate to that. The many times a female ex-colleague pissed me off so much that I had to shout at her, essentially losing my frame because of her (stupid) actions. Still got a long way to go for me, man..
/r/TheRedPill07/03/15 06:42 PM
1

Remember, AWALT, even if it is a conservative society, women will still be women. You just got to hold frame for your plate spinning. I think if you really want to 'score' you got to go to the clubs where the women are more 'westernized' and thus more receptive to what you want from them (sex). Other than that I think the other method is to focus on self improvement first if you recieve too much ASD and LMR. Just my 2 cents

I know that feeling. Had a fwb that basically asked for cash after a few times. It became a regular affair which made me technically pay for sex with her. Then after a while she just asks for money to 'help her' because we are 'friends' and me not getting anything (sex) in return. I have since nexted her. Should have done that long ago but she is my first fwb and I got oneitis hard. Glad I got out of this mess though.

I found out about this sub only a few months back and I am amazed at how much the quality of the 'whats hot' has changed. I'm still in the reading trpbooks and sidebar phase and have posted here and there but seeing that Leonardo DiCaprio's post made me sick. It is just an example, a very bad one at that. We just need the few FRs that are golden and give us knowledge to learn from. Not this 'look at this celebrity with chicks, you need to be him to have chicks so he is redpill' bullshit /rant

I've heard a lot about Thailand though, but I've just been introduced to TRP and am reading up about all these. I wonder how do I move (if I even could) to Thailand at my relatively young age. Yeah the government has this red light district called Geylang that they usually close one eye to. But at night you'll still see freelancers and pimps along the roads and in the alleys.
