You're on the right track. Don't worry I consider myself new to game too, and I have a lot to work on myself. I attribute all my progress so far to just talking to people, anybody. Soon enough you'll be able to talk to any woman no problem! Just remember that beautiful women are just other people.

It's ok to be nervous, just smile. I get nervous too and stammer sometimes, but what helps me is that I slow down in my speech. That cut down on my stuttering almost 100%. I think you may be putting too much effort into this one girl, what makes her so special? It would be good for you to have abundance mentality and talk to many women. When I find myself somewhere new and I just want to make new friends I just find a local group/club that's into a hobby of mine, like hiking. You can also try a meetup group...where I am there are plenty. I met a few new friends looking at meetup groups on meetup.com. That might be a good starting point. Other than that I just try to meet new people during the day wherever I go.
