Sort of like "teaching" I guess. But why do we see it used always in the context of women? In medicine, in general, if you have an attending (full fledged physician) and a learner (medical student, resident, or fellow), who have a good relationship and meet to discuss things other than medical teaching, we often describe that relationship as mentoring one. I wouldn't have control over the stuff and there would be no way to ensure it comes back to me. While it does not come to us as easy as for women, you can create your own support system by surrounding yourself with good guy friends. For example, when I went through a breakup after a long term relationship, my friends encouraged to go out with them everyday and workout and pushed me to not stay home, which was amazing for me and my self esteem. 1	Man serves 4 YEARS in prison for a fake rape accusation until it's discovered the woman lied. He gets $90,000 as a "compensation", she gets a 2 month weekend service-only sentence. I would honestly rather her admit that it was a lie and the guy be set free with her receiving a light sentence than her keeping it a secret and him staying in prison. On the flipside, there should be a law that if you told the lie and it was found out without you admitting it, then you should receive a much harsher sentence.
