But women also love positive husband messages. We still liked those ads.

Yes, let's all stoop to the behaviours we were disgusted by, or at least support those behaviours if they're against people we've written off as "deserving it.". Eh.. No thanks.

I'd say more upset with a company that bowed to their demands because they were loud, rather than making an attempt to see if the community was even okay with the idea. Idiots exist everywhere, and demand lots of stupid shit all the time. Being mad at them is pointless. Enabling them is ridiculous. You seem very focused on being mad at some women,as though no men were involved. You might want to actually check out their stupid little rallies. Idiots are not gender specific.

Or maybe the women who are complaining, are not the idiots who asked for, or wanted gender neutral facilities? Wouldn't that make more sense?

Yes. I should give up support for better paternal right immediately. After all, I have no real opinions of my own, I'm just a woman. It could only cause harm to be annoyed at a dismissal of my thoughts based on what's between my legs. Thanks for enlightening me.

It's the lotion self-victimising assholes masturbate with. Hypocritical fuck. You're the one defining yourself as not lonely, not wanting love, but involuntary 'without the SEX'. Is it any wonder it's so repulsive and poisonous to any interactions with suitable women? Please. You'll continue to define your own problems as the fault of everyone else/society, and be upset that you're "shamed" for taking zero responsibility for yourself whatsoever. You must be getting something out of it, or you wo…

Absolutely scumbags on both sides. I left feminism because of the same issues there - though I consider myself egalitarian also. Interesting to see so many mens rights proponets are just as accusatory, and self-victimising, as feminist groups. It's like this in two party politics too. The mob seems to want an enemy to fight more than reason or justice. I think this mentality has gotten so much worse over the last decade. It's fucking depressing.

She (and all women) simply can't understand anything from a man's point of view ... Because he specifically says women can't understand a man's perspective, which is obvious bullshit. Or do you actually believe that? Given I am a woman who pro men's rights (particularly paternity rights), he's already wrong. Come on now.

The thing is, I am a feminist and I disagree. My only prerogative is for women and men to view each other as on the same team, and be afforded sameish opportunities and protections. It is so tiresome to hear people on both sides carrying on like dim witted apes, convinced that men and women are at war with each other. It is a huge problem around reddit that sub groups of feminists say something stupid, or I'll conceived, and it becomes 'evidence' of a backward movement. Rarely is attention paid …

These guys are talking to the wrong women if they react in fear and disgust. women don't have a man's perspective, I think that is obvious. Encouraging communication and sharing is fine, bullying people to get access to thoughts that someone would rather be private with, is not. It doesn't seem to be a subtle distinction, but then some ppl are exceedingly stupid.

Actually MEN are and have always been the front runners in psychology, including criminal psychology. Tell men to stop meddling? Arguing that feelings don't relate to abuse is kind of nuts. We are not robots, emotions is kind of our deal as humans.

Not going to bother. Decrying does fuck all, here I am and you are telling me why I don't decry it. Ok. You want to fight for a preconception and are predisposed to vehemently disagree with anything I would put forward. No thanks.

Women were viewed as lesser than men. Couldn't own property, inherent, or vote. Women were sold. In Africa little girls are still having their clitoris removed and their vulva sewn up to ensure virginity. Education? Hahaha. What on Earth are you talking about that women were never really viewed as lesser??

I interpreted it as: let ppl do what they want if it isn't hurting anyone, and don't shame them. Men are currently shamed far more readily for anything feminine than overtly masculine. People who feel free be themselves in any shade of grey between masculine and feminine is the goal.
/r/MensRights07/08/15 04:07 AM

None of our business? Like it or not, women are suffering and dying far more at the hands of men than women. In a movement that tries to provide safety and equality to women, the feelings that drive some men to abuse should be our business. Your personal feelings are your own, but you don't represent all men, least of all all abusive men. I hope that you strive to know the feelings of those adversely affecting men's issues. How else do you expect to learn how to best approach it?

Any rational feminist is just fucking sick of dealing with ppl against them no matter what they do or say. Every good action is measured against the bad apples, and if you want to get noticed, bad wins every time.

You seem quite attached to the idea that feminists are man hating. Perhaps you should actually check out r/feminism just to note the difference between their threads, and the threads here. This sub is doing itself a great disservice by seeing too much as a battle of the sexes, or a battle with feminism. Jezebell.com is a trashy gossip magazine in website form, and hardly a beacon of feminism. I don't know why there is that association. Is http://www.fhm.com/ a men's rights site because it's aime…

Honest question... Why are many here so intent on focusing on feminism tear downs? I look at this subreddit front page and the content is overwhelmingly presented as 'men vs women'/'woman screws man over'. Check r/feminism for a comparison, and it does not present the same. This thread draws attention to an instance of an individual "feminist?", writing an article that displays their own hypocrisy. Disappointing, and good for calling it... But then it's made out as though it represents the views…

Figured I'd give you a serious response, lots of knee jerking going on... Unique benefits to weight lifting: Muscle mass speeds basal metabolism, and load bearing exercises strengthen bones. Any exercise is good, but weight lifting is definitely a good thing to incorporate, particularly as you get older. Vice versa if you only lift weights, you should mix it up with some cardio.

Besides which, I just googled erotic books images and found a tonne of them actually feature gorgeous idealistic women as the prominent (or only), cover figure. What is that supposed to tell us? My guess, that people like soft sexy lighting and unblemished characters in their fantasies. Huge suprise.

This is exactly what I needed to read right now. I am half way through pregnancy with our first child and am so scared of how radically our lives will change, I don't know how well I'm going to do. I hope we're up to it and don't mess the poor kid up too badly :)

The point of this whole thread is that feminist cry out about male privilege while it is men who are sent to die and kill in war yet somehow people like Hillary Clinton still manage to claim that women are the primary victims of war. Feminists cry out about lack of equality, not male privilege. No one is trying to take men's rights away, we're trying to give more equality across the board. Usually it's a giving of rights, but not over the rights of someone else. There is no evil intent to overth…

Why are you answering your own questions? Show me evidence that feminists in their evil, shamed underaged boys into going to war? Were there any female politicians of influence at all? It seems to me like, yet again, the actions of a handful of women, are taken to represent the entirety...

It's still advantages that one gender has over the other. So why are you nitpicking? If the point of this thread was that Hillary Clinton said some stupid shit, why wasn't it called just that? Maybe she meant to refer to living with the death of your loved ones, being as hard as dying yourself? I don't know, and honestly I don't care anymore.

Those were very different times. Women were not in any sense of the word independant. The perception was that women in war times must produce babies for the next generation. I don't understand what you are getting at? Each sex has priviledges. Men enjoy the priviledge of being stronger and faster, women enjoy the priviledge of being able to decipher more colours than men, and more tones. What exactly is your point? That going to war was called a priviledge? Some actually viewed it that way. Peop…

We have tabloid magazines, Hugh Heffner's bunnies, that woman with the huge ass that got married for 20 seconds. If you need a PSA campaign to assist you with getting a clue, then the problem is with you. There are dodgy men, there are dodgy women. This whole men vs women stuff is pretty stupid on the whole.

I'm a woman, I guess I am feminist. I am about a better balance of rights. I have no desire to take any rights from anyone, I would rather give it. I think it's very difficult for either gender to understand one another, but you should at least try. This casual insulting of an entire cause as a girl's pursuit is silly. Go check out the scene in Afghanistan. Feminism came about for a reason. Stop always focusing the crazy people please.
