reminds me of this quote "Fear is the path to the dark side…fear leads to anger…anger leads to hate…hate leads to suffering.”

back up the recording on an online service in case the police arrest you. the police have been known to destroy evidence that hinders the prosecution

Yes this is in the UK and was a police investigation. My university suspended me pending the results of the police investigation and for the safety of students. I have already consulted a lawyer who recommended that a private prosecution would be too costly on my behalf and the girl is unlikely to be found guilty as the burden of proof is too high. She also is a student and isn't likely to have any funds to recoup my costs from.

The girls mother is a lawyer who will coach her what to say. My lawyer who advised me against a private prosecution since the burden of proof is too high in court for her to be found guilty. Also my family doesn't have any more money left to pay for a lawyer since my legal fees are already high. What will suing her achieve anyhow, she is a university student and doesn't have any money to pay me.

I've already been accepted into other institutions of similar ranking. I was only at my university for a very short period of time before this incident (2 weeks) but I am concerned about rumours and getting a bad rep if I go back there

Whether or not to go back to the same university and how to deal with women going forward?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
