I was only talking about the average persons perspective That I agree does seem to be.

things like sports and cooking are blatantly gendered Most of the chef's I know are men. Maybe it's just my region, Louisiana, but the idea that educated cooks are mostly women seems really dishonest to me.

Poison is traditionally a woman's tool for killing...I wonder if the failure rate is the same for self vs others.

I'm not necessarily better than anyone here (at everything) It's safe to assume that anyone you meet can best you at something. but I'm still the coolest motherfucker alive. Conversely that means that you are better than everyone in the room at something. Know it.

I'm being downvoted because I've not given a compassionate reply to a sad situation and instead of calmly asserting that the sorrow appears to be financially motivated. I did so because the legal system has ruined more lives of those I know then I care to recall and this story reminds me of it. It's easy to say "lets sue" because of an obvious tragedy but to me it is sadly applied in this instance because so much more can be done by putting resources into solving not so obvious justice problems.…

Wrong, it was Throwawayzis who was asking for the link not the person who's brother committed suicide. You gave that to him but kept it from the rest of us then you give me a ridiculous illogical response as to why you wouldn't share it. The person needing support doesn't need the fucking links they are LIVING the nightmare. It was us who might be hoping to be MORE supportive that might want to see them(which is why he asked in the first place). Throwawayzis's request didn't say anything about d…

you just go to a bar and strike a convo with a random bunch? This is a hobby of mine. I'll talk to almost anyone. Anytime I'm in a new city/town I find the local watering holes and go to meet people (and drink beer). Even if it's just the hotel bar. I've gotten job offers talking up people in bars. I'm in it for the socializing not so much for picking up women ( I'm already married) or jobs but it's flattering when others want to join the conversation. As a newbie I'd suggest getting to know the…

I point the remote at her, press power or mute. Then give it a puzzling look, frantically hitting it while smashing the buttons and shaking it in her direction.

Let me tell you something about short. I'm 5'4" and have never had trouble getting laid. I'm not the pretty boy type, hell often I'm not clean shaven nor do I pay much attention to my overgrown mop of a hairdo. All it takes is Dick and Personality. I suspect he is more concerned with the shortness of his dick then of himself. I have 4 close friends all between 5'3" and 5'5" who I've seen pull some of the hottest ass imaginable and you know what they don't even like women they just want the pussy…

Do you not see how quoting works? You seem to be using it, so your question is total nonsense. Quoting something from an article doesn't guarantee you've read it. It is your question here which is nonsense; we all know the answer, even you answered it. And this form of love is animal love. Ok, Humans are animals. And if we are going to discuss the difference between Male and Female "love" then it seems quite obvious that we start with the animal components instead of the sociological ones. This …

What people use the word "love" for today is "romance" and sex, and lust, and a marketing, branding, preferences, choices, picky, superficial. Did you actually read the article or did you just reply to the headline? If you listen long enough to men talking about what it means to love, you'll notice that loving is inextricably linked, for many men, to some form of protection. Unconditional love you say? Like protecting ones family with his life?

Simple solution just extend abortion till 18. Make the parents literally responsibility. i.e. a child does a crime the parents pay the penalty. Then if a child is ungovernable and a parent aborts it no problems.

AND it concludes that guys who like pictures of babies will be good dads if women like their picture. I would like to see them use the pictures of child abusers and ask the same women.

What the hell? So if a man likes pictures of babies he will be a good dad because some women like his picture? The conclusion is complete bullshit.

Yes and I agree with you here but to me, perhaps only figuratively, absolutely nothing stands at face value. But I do understand what you and the article did there. I should probably have just agreed that it sounded pretty but truthfully, to my tone deaf self, it really didn't.

But how do you get to be a man now? ... You get to be a man (if you get to be one at all) by acquiring the "virtues" of fidelity, emotional articulacy, sexual discrimination and social co-operating. In other words, you get to be a man by imitating a woman, except with a six-pack. But no body hair. You are right in that it leaves out all the modern, culture and context which makes the rest of it dramatic. That is to say; yes, it doesn't zoom in on modern men but it says something of men and not e…

It said a lot about the different attitudes men have of themselves and put it up against the context of time and cultural changes. It also says a little of how some men view the objects of their desire.

Not even just the state, I know several dad's who have orders saying every weekend but the Bitches won't let it happen. Some demand payments before visits, others avoid being available or contactable on these weekends. Then the already financially drained guy must pay more for court for the court to say, "yea you cant do that girl, don't do that" And they get their kid for a weekend or two before it begins again. Government broke families and we perpetuate it Welcome to serfdom. Liberty or death…

Seems like a hardy, "Grow a pair" could do wonders in many situations. But this advice is somewhat futile when considering how anti father courts are. It seers my gut to even consider what would happen if I had to go back. And that coming from a father who has custody and pays no child support. Court is a fucking pita. Even divorced couples need to learn to manage their (broken) families without a judge and lawyers. The kids lose when mom and dad are entangled with "what I want". Most dad's I kn…
