Yikes I've been downvoted into oblivion. And fair enough, I'll have to enjoy this until I'm no longer useful I guess.

Thanks, mate. Very articulate too, I like you.

I guess you are right :( But what about the men who never got screwed over by their partners? What about the men who are in happy fulfilling relationships? I am definitely slipping back into the bargaining stage, you are right. Last year I was as MGTOW as they get. Then she came along and nearly a year later she's yet to screw me over or prove otherwise. I'm in over my head I know that. But I'll have to take it one day at a time. I haven't been subjected to typical blue pill commitments or expec…

I don't think she's "special" at all, and I do agree that the system is fucked. She's my best friend above all else, doesn't that count for something? I understand hypergamy and female nature and all that stuff, but what I care about is friendship. As cold as they can be, females have empathy for friends. Even if we don't work out as lovers, we'll always be friends and she would never do that to me. What reason would she ever have to screw me over like that when there are ZERO expectations?
/r/MGTOW27/05/18 08:39 AM

That seems like a very cynical way to live. All of those scenarios you described are very unlikely to happen, albeit I'm not dismissing their possibility. Perhaps I'll cross that bridge if it ever comes my way. I doubt that even if we do ever go our separate ways, we won't end on a sour note such that she'd do something so extreme. I'm a laid back person and so is she. I would have to do something so hurtful to her for her to do that to me with no remorse. I am willing to take the risk, because …

What if a redpilled guy could enjoy blue pill benefits (sex, companionship etc) without any of the cons? Expectations, my brothers. Expectations are the downfall of man. I am redpilled, make no mistake. I understand women, and their hypergamous nature. What i have learned is to be able to accept this redpill, and thus adjust my expectations accordingly. I am now currently dating a single mother. I know, the complete opposite of what MGTOW is about. I believe I do love her, and I have come to a p…

Exactly! This is all im trying to say to OP, but instead im getting hate for it..

My father cheated on my mother and broke her heart a few times (3 different long-term affairs). She told me she stayed for us the kids because he is such an amazing father. Was I disappointed when I found out? definitely, in fact, I saw my father in a different light. But I still respect and love him as my father. Their romantic relationship has nothing to do with me.
/r/MGTOW17/05/18 11:44 AM
-7

If she's been a good mother throughout OPs life, then OP has no right to disown her for this. Sure he can be mad at her, and support the father, but to disown the mother for something that has absolutely nothing to do with OP is indicative of his lack of emotional maturity. I am by no means defending the whore, but where OP is concerned, the romantic relationship of his mother and father is not of his concern.
/r/MGTOW17/05/18 11:37 AM
-7

I don't think I deserve all the hate I'm getting for my comment, my comment has been misunderstood. I meant that OP is impacted less by his mothers infidelity, and therefore he needs to be the strong one for his father. If his father sees OP upset, his fatherly instincts are going to want to comfort OP. OP needs to be there for his father, and put aside his own pain, because as bad as this may sound, OPs pain is much less than what his father is going through right now. And as for respecting the…

You're the son, how do you think your dad, the husband who's at the forefront of it all, feels? Be there for him during this difficult time. And no matter what, your mother will always be your mother. Respect her as the mother. But most importantly, be there for your dad.

She even supports my decision to get a vasectomy! And we've been seeing each other for 6 months. I know, short time. Time will tell I suppose. She supports mgtow philosophy, so let's see if it's all an act after time. Cheers

She insists on none of that. I have considered everything we would classify as NAWALT characteristics and she has so far been most of them. I don't know if I'm in over my head. Time will tell I suppose. And she supports my decision to get a vasectomy.

That was my ex wife, but she wanted my resources as I was on my way to making big money. This one knows I have nothing now (I'm a low income earner) and have no assets to protect even. She loves me for me, she has nothing to gain from me besides just me. I subtly preach mgtow philosophy to her and she agrees. Why would she deceive me if she has nothing else to gain? Thanks for responding.

Does every MGTOW here think their mother is/was the only NAWALT to exist? I love my mother dearly, and while she hasn't made my dad's life miserable, I'm willing to admit I still see some AWALT traits in her and their marriage.

I know the Ethiopian community and I've been to Ethiopia, and other African countries (I'm African myself also). In fact, just in general girls from the Horn of Africa are the best that Africa has to offer. I also dated a Somali once, and also a half Somali half Ethiopian girl. This was all during my blue pill stages though lol.

The problem with some MGTOW's is they act like our lifestyle is superior (which it is). The key is to act like the MGTOW lifestyle is just an alternative way of life, no harm done if they pity you or think little of you.

Maybe I'm an exception to the rule? Because I honestly have nobody giving me a hard time in my life. Almost all the potential bad situations I could've been in were stopped in their tracks because I put my ego aside, and dealt with the situations with diplomacy and maturity. Why would anyone bother someone who's doing their own thing? I'm genuinely curious here, hoping to see your perspective.
/r/MGTOW17/04/18 11:36 PM

How can anyone give you a hard time if you choose to do your own thing? Give me any possible scenario and I'll show you there's a way out of any potentially harmful situation from those characters.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but I have to respectfully disagree. I believe true MGTOW's shouldn't have any enemies. MGTOW at it's core (at least to me) is about freedom, freedom from all the BS the world has to offer. Thus, I have no enemies. My only "enemy" is my ego, because that is the only thing in the position to ruin my life, so I keep it in check. This is why we always say the only way to win is to not play at all, it's not just about icing out women, it's also not participating in a…

Motorbikes, travelling, surfing, snowboarding, skydiving, wakeboarding etc Board sports are so much fun, and motorbikes are the most fun you'll ever have. Dirt bikes, get a supersport bike and take it to the track, let's see how you feel afterwards 😉🤙🤙

Sure! It's easy to travel really cheap. Airfares are the most expensive part and sometimes you can find amazing deals, but once you're abroad, it's dirt cheap (also depends on where you go). I highly recommend the Balkans in their summer, South East Asia is so cheap and awesome, Latin America too, Eastern Europe is very good, and Central Asia is probably the most underrated place to travel (one of my favorite travel experiences in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan of all places). Northern and Southern A…

Exactly! I live an amazing life, and I live it because I disregard social norms. I've done more than most people would do in 3 lifetimes and I'm only 26. We're talking a crazy instagram/YouTube/Facebook/all social media-worthy life here (lots of people say I should write books). And it's made females even more attracted to me. When I'm MGTOW, I achieve so much! Girls are only a complement to my life, not a necessity.

If you look after yourself now, you won't need to be looked after when you become elderly. The day I depend on someone else to do basic shit, I'm out of here. Some sleeping pills, whiskey, an old car without a catalytic converter will do it.

If you aren't fit, start eating healthy and being more active. Travel the world and find other interesting hobbies. You're never too old to stay at backpackers, nice way to meet some cool down to earth people. Learn to ride motorbikes, then get one. Get into a board sport if possible depending on where you live. Also get a dog, you almost have a perfect MGTOW life, just need to find things that fulfill you. Also you need to be careful as I feel like you're ripe for transitioning into a blue pill…
/r/MGTOW13/04/18 08:55 PM

I don't get the big deal here. If you find a girl that you're keen to fuck, just get her to sign consent (if she finds it weird just inform her of why) and wear a condom. Problem solved, you'll have legal consent, and won't knock her up.
/r/MGTOW13/04/18 08:44 PM

/r/MGTOW13/04/18 08:09 PM

Exactly! Let go of the past and let go of the bitterness. That shit will only hold you back in your pursuit of going your own way. After all, MGTOW is about freedom from everyone and everything. Do you my friend, keep on keeping on 👍

Try to think of him as a necessary evil. Now you know what NOT to become like. Had you been raised by just your mother, you wouldn't have known better. I think you would've turned out worse without your father. Fathers can either inspire their sons to become like them, or inspire them not to become like them. Either way, a father figure is still necessary. I hope that makes sense.
/r/MGTOW12/04/18 11:47 PM

This is a no brainer. I would be signing those adoption papers. Her husband is currently getting to play the father figure without any of the financial obligations, while you don't get to be part of the kids life yet paying $1695 a month? Fuck that.

What about this for thought? As MGTOWs, women want to "fix" our independence by getting us to depend on them and their validation. But they can't fix us, and most of us are alpha already, so are we what women want? I certainly get more attention now that I'm MGTOW than I've ever gotten when I did want their attention/validation.

Lol you're not overreacting, that's your gut instinct telling you to GTFO that relationship. When people are "in love" they tend to ignore red flags, hell, I ignored some serious red flags before marrying my ex wife. It's better to be alone and at peace, than be in an unstable relationship. Food for thought.
/r/MGTOW07/04/18 06:48 AM

My advice, as a MGTOW, is to ditch the broad. You can be friends with her in the future if that's something you see as serving your best interests. I say ditch her because girls like her are a disaster waiting to happen. Leave her and let her get the help she needs, let her work on herself, and likewise, you should use the split to work on yourself also. If you decide to stay, be prepared for a shitstorm of a life, constant rollercoaster emotions and shit tests.

/r/MGTOW01/04/18 05:44 AM

Might not be yours. If I were you, I would be honest with her that you don't want to be a father and offer to assist her with abortion. If she insists on keeping the child, she needs to understand that you want no parental rights or responsibilities. See a lawyer about your options, if you can avoid getting your name on that birth certificate, you'll most likely be off the hook for child support. Good luck. Worst case scenario, you leave the country.

I'm in the exact same boat as you mate! married early 20s and got out soon after, unscathed also. Now everyone around me is getting married. Surprised no one's mentioned motorbikes yet. If you can afford it, get lessons and get your license then get a 1000cc supersport bike or even 600cc. You can get cheap 2005-2008 bikes and they are loads of fun. Also dirt bikes. Riding is amazing. Surfing is also fun if you live near the beach, get lessons. Travelling is also good fun, albeit expensive to fly, once you get to your destination it's really cheap. I was you a few years ago, now I'm living the dream.
