Paul Allen? Plenty of real geeks should know that. I got into tech because I loved it, late 80s/early 90s. I never did it for the money - hell, nobody knew it would take off the way it did - but I'm glad it did. I moved from Australia to San Francisco, earn the big bucks now, and I'm a single bachelor loving the life. Can't stand women. I should clarify, I'm still young 30s. Late 80s I was a kid, early 90s I was going through school etc.

Interesting. I was just reading the Nigerian thread, too. Having a thing for African women... moving to Africa might not be such a bad idea. Once I finish making my money in the US, I could totally see myself going there to retire in a few years time. I've always wanted to go to South Africa (mostly because its an ex british colony and i'm from Aus/NZ and would feel more at home there) but Nigeria, Kenya as you mentioned, and others are all good possibilities. Not sure I agree with you. In New Zealand, for example, prostitution was made not illegal so that working girls who are victims of assault or other crimes could go to the police without fear of being arrested. In-n-out burger? Out of curiosity, why is BB/AF spelled Beta Bux / Alpha Fux instead of just Beta Bucks / Alpha Fucks? Honestly, the latter correct spelling just looks 100x better, we're not fucking 8 year old school kids using shitty abbreviations - we're men - so why do we do it with AF/BB? I cringe every time I see it written that way. And I've been reading TRP for months.

I think it's time I stopped circlejerking on this subrredit and got back to lifting. (Not joking - I actually use hanging out on here to justify my procrastination. It's just hamstering. I hope other's don't do this either. Just reading the TRP subreddit isn't the same as actually doing it.)

It's weird. I could buy melatonin over the counter in Australia, but when I moved to New Zealand I couldn't get it AT ALL. That was unexpected. Now I'm in the US and can get all the melatonin I want. It's mindboggling its unavailable some places.

This kind of stuff blows me away. It really does. What is the solution, then? Never get into an LTR? Never get married? Never have kids? I'm 35 and not really sure what to do. I am very thankful, however, to have dodged so many bullets in my life. I'm 35, single, never married, and no kids. I've been in an LTR though, and almost got married. And she had a kid.
