I'd say there has to be a setting to turn that shit off, but I don't assume that knowing how some people develop software

You can. Amazon Echo works great. Or Siri and Homekit if you're an Apple guy

As long as you're not a weeb about it, it's just like Siri or Alexa (Amazon Echo) with a visual interface

100% agree. I skimmed the title, so I didn't even notice that the OP was supposedly a woman until I read it in a comment. Reading it blind, I completely thought that it was a dude talking about his brother-in-law.

Not just professional victims. Society at large hates giving women agency in their actions. Everything bad that happens is the responsibility of some outside force, whether that's the "patriarchy" or even just fate, nothing is ever their fault.

That's a nice strawman you've got there. You should probably go troll somewhere else

Yep. If you haven't read this post, now is a great time to give it a look. Keep it up, you're obviously doing something right

I don't know. This sounds like the lead-up to the main event. He hasn't had that yet and "your personality sucks" sounds a lot like "you're an asshole now"

Just had almost exactly similar situation with my wife. Laid off for about 8 weeks. I was laid off suddenly, but was totally unconcerned when I spoke to her. She was freaking out, gave her a kiss to shut her up, told her it was going to be fine. The entire time I was job hunting, I maintained frame. I crunched my numbers and did my "worrying" in private, but she never got to see that. 6 weeks, I get a call from a friend asking if I'm still looking. Got an interview, completely aced it and had an…

Take the extra money and invest it. It's your money, not hers. Use it to make you more money instead of just blowing it

Oh, so I don't get to go on vacation? No, don't say this. That comes off as extremely butthurt. Better course of action when the inevitable "we have money saved" comes out is a simple "You're right, WE." with no further discussion

Ha, that's sisters in general, man. Mine called me last year begging me to help her with her taxes. Laughed at her and told her to grab Turbotax and do it herself. This year, not a single call. Having a sister is a great way to learn to pass shit tests early, without the extra sexual pressure

That's why it's better to just cut old black holes out of your life. Nuke the bridge and move on, there's plenty of women out there. What's she going to do, be mad at him? Oooo, scary

Makes sense. She enjoys that feeling of you scrambling to find a suggestion that "meets her standards". But if the only option is accept or come up with an alternative, suddenly option one sounds amazing. Ah, the lack of agency in decision-making. AWALT in action

Feelz over realz, man. It "feels so good right now, it must be meant to be" followed by "Oh, I just didn't know what I was doing. I was drunk/he seduced me" when they finally get caught. It doesn't help their lack of introspection that BB eat that shit up like candy.

Divorce her and shame the fuck out of her to her family and friends so that she's less likely to play dirty in the divorce. Why stick around with someone who adds negative value to your life?

Call a girl fat? Any girl in earshot is going to take up for her with a vengeance. Truth. Luckily, I've got a pretty solid IDGAF attitude which usually makes the other party walk away once they realize shaming tactics don't work. Side-note, women thrive on double standards. AWALT, just look at AF/BB

I'd have to go full black knight in a situation like that. "Last I checked, I can't grow anymore. What's your excuse?" Then again, I'm a complete asshole, so YMMV

Leave. If I were him, that woman would not be my fiancee anymore. Really, this should be tagged as a blue pill example, because there's no theory here at all, just a man in a relationship slated for failure or pain on his side. I would never dream of telling my wife that she's able to affect my mental state, even if it were true. Withdrawing affection and dread game work wonders in nipping disrespect like that in the bud. Also, when your LTR starts weaponizing sex before you're even married, you…

The update was an even better look at black women cognitive dissonance. I had a similar experience years ago with friends and that lack of self-awareness is pretty much universal

Spot on analysis. I just read that and was disgusted with the fact that he even had to ask if it was normal. I think this comment summed up what his reaction should be nicely I believe this is just one of those things where you say "welp..." , and start canceling the wedding invitations. Couldn't have said it any better myself

I'm actually about to do the exact same thing. We're doing something similar to you right now (separate personal accounts, joint main account for bills). It works, but there's issues she does that are grating on me that I'm going to kick to the curb next year. I'd highly suggest getting her to agree to paying for personal stuff in cash instead of always spending from the card. When it's gone for a payperiod, it's gone. I'm only partly joking. Blue pill men buy into the "convention" of spending 3 years salary on a ring without question. He probably spend at least that, probably more since he didn't walk away when she first rejected the ring because it wasn't "nice enough". (Read: Girlfriend X has a much bigger ring and I want one bigger than that)

Then why do you care? That's the point of Dread. If she doesn't re-engage you jump ship and have an SMV high enough to just go out and pull sloots

I feel like getting a puppy should be a must for any man without kids that's starting his RP journey. Properly training a pup takes hard work, dedication and great attention to detail. Plus, if you train them well, they'll actively show your wife that they consider you the alpha. My wife liked to coddle ours when training him, so now if I'm around, he'll look to me before executing commands for her. Watching her get worked up about that is hilarious.

Reading that thread is an easy way to slip deep back in to the anger phase if you've freshly swallowed the pill. Some of those stories are rage inducing

Not quite. All relationships have the potential to end badly if the right set of circumstances present themselves. If you can keep a woman's hypergamy sated, then it'll only end if you choose to end it.

Unfortunately it was locked and removed before I got there. From what I can glean from the comments, she attempted to downplay her number and it backfired massively. He got upset and asked how many? I told him the number didn't matter, it was the fact that I lied that I was feeling guilty about. He agreed it was disturbing to him, but he wanted to know how many men. I tried to tell him it wasn't the issue, but he wasn't listening. He got a little angry. He doesn't shout or use a lot of profanity…

One ray of sunshine for fiance: she came clean and the wedding's off. Always makes me happy to see a man stand up for himself and not cave in the face of the "numbers don't matter" bullshit

I believe you've misinterpreted AWALT. AWALT says that, given the chance, all women can and will become CC riders. It doesn't state that all women ARE CC riding sluts. Some hit the wall before the right circumstances present themselves.

I strongly believe he mixed up his pronouns. She wants me to go to the gym, wants me to take care of myself...She tells me i would rather you spend that money on stuff you need to look better and treat yourself. From the way the following sentences read, she's basically agreeing that he is the nice guy and wants the change. Granted, this will probably change once he gets farther along, but he'll be ready to deal with it by then.

Case in point. Woman whining that she wishes she could be with her AF more often, he makes her so wet, blah, blah, blah. You really don't usually get this much insight into the AF/BB dichotomy. EDIT: It's a RP gold mine over there. part of why I cheat is because I am responsible for everything at home. Everything. And I never get treated. Never. What is one of our core tenants again? Something about women wanting a strong leader...

I'm happy to hear the final nail is in that coffin. Reading your earlier posts, I could never find a redeeming quality in anything you wrote about her. Good luck, fight hard, fight dirty and fight to win. From the sound of it, she's probably going to try to paint you as some horrible person in the divorce. Make sure to head that off with friends and family as much as possible.

Then I press the big red reset button. I explain I am the captain of this ship and she is now the first officer Great use of the reset button and excellent job holding frame as she attempted to pull you back into hers. New guys should take note that this does not work as a first option. Utilizing this strategy only works if you've actually buckled down and made noticeable that provoke a response in your wife. Otherwise it just become a victim puke.

Well thanks for updating us but that doesn't answer the main question. Have you gotten a divorce lawyer yet? If the answer is no, you need to get out of here and not come back until you do. No amount of MRP is going to help/save your marriage now

In that entire thread, there were exactly 2 women that said "that's a horrible idea". Of course, both were buried under the weight of all the hamsters. Remember OI and Dread Game are your weapons against a woman who tries to weaponize sex. Internalize those concepts so you don't end up like this beta chump

I usually go with about 14, but it's the same basic thing. There's a reason women are called "the most responsible oldest teenager in the house"

Yes, this frame works. I had a similar situation to OP. Out of work for 2 months when I left the military and transitioned back to civilian life. Job hunting daily, chasing down leads to secure a job. We had one exchange, at about the 1.5 month mark, where she attacked me about still being out of work. I was still BP at the time, but I'd have flashes of RP insight, even though I didn't know what it was at the time. Wife - "I'm the one paying all the bills because you're too lazy to look for a jo…

Believe that in the majority of cases, your situation probably the exact cause of the DB. It doesn't compute with women that there has to be some sort of physical attraction. In their mind, "I have a pussy, therefore I deserve sex when I want it"

You said that you've started reading WISNIFG, that's a start. But the real way to change that mindset is to ignore it. It's not easy, but you're a man. You have something that she doesn't have: willpower. What's the worst that can happen if you don't wash her laundry or don't fix her food? Well, she can get angry and yell at you, but she's already doing that so why does that matter. She could also give you the cold shoulder, but that's already on the table so that's not new either. Option 3 woul…

As to the marriage, I am not willing to call it quits yet Talking to a lawyer doesn't mean you have to call it quits. It's the rational thing to do so you're on top of all your options. Work to save your marriage if you can, but don't use that as an excuse to be caught unawares if you can't.

She does a good job and actually wants to do it? I'd let her. Genuine "I'm helpful and he loves that I'm helpful" tingles are never a bad thing.

Right now, you're too inexperienced to effect change. Read the sidebar materials for the next month. Start with When I Say No, I Feel Guilty followed by No More Mr Nice Guy (again). Internalize those, make them your life. Remember, you're fighting against years of beta programming and her expectations/distain of beta you. You're going to get push-back, probably a lot of it. That's okay, keep working and either it'll pass, or you'll realize you don't want to stick around. Just don't go dropping a…

I saw a lot of good in your FR. Thanks for sharing. You might be beyond the point of no return, but only a little more time will tell. Rewarding bad behavior I noticed on two occasions, once with the vacation and once with the planned event, you're treating her to incredibly nice things.
