I have followed your story for a while bro. You finally pulled the trigger, good for you. Everything was prepped and planned, and it sounds like you handled it like a boss. Work on you, enjoy life with your daughter, and go slay some pussy dude! Also happy Veterans Day, thanks for your service!

I don’t generally comment, being too busy with life and shit, but this post made want to say something since I was (am still) dealing with this. You can look through my post history, but synopsis - wife gained a shit ton of weight after kids, had no drive to lose it, I was miserable. So... my suggestion is to be upfront with her about everything. Fuck being a pussy about that shit. I’ m not sure your exact situation, you didn’t list any lift numbers, but my guess would be that you are still a ne…

I like this thought. You are right about getting the numbers. 5 lbs doesn't mean shit if you gained 10. 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

You nailed it. With age, kids, and slowed metabolism, that pretty much did it. She didn't work for it before, just got it naturally, so of course the work is new to her. Impressively she is working hard. She wants her legs back, so we'll see...

What do you want to know? I'm 5'10, 175, workout 3 days at the gym, and I try to get 2 days at the dojo. I'm working on a half marathon, and my buddy is trying to get me to do a goruck challenge with him. So there's that training to look forward to.

I've gone through most of the sidebar material, but right nowb I am focusing on my career. I make low six figures, but I'm trying to get that green :) so I've been working on certs and such. I do need a new book tho, recommendations?

Agreed. The thing is sex only dried up because I wasn't interested. I am in it for the long haul, I want my teenage model girl back... Even if she isn't a teen anymore :)

I didn't want to hash out my life story in this post, if you take a look at my history there is a post of my failures and gains. I have been subscribed for a year, lurking for a year before. In the last month I've steadily increased my gains in the gym. Roughly 5 lbs per week on strong lifts.

She is 5'9", 36, weight is iffy, but my guess now is 200 or so. Bra size is 44dd. Im not sure about negotiating... She is following my lead, therefore I give her my attention.

Not at all... She was a teen model when I met her. No bullshit. It's my fault for not stating an unacceptable change like gaining 80lbs. Wtf was I thinking....

I'm definitely working on a plan. I find I can't discuss anything without first going through an action plan, and itemizing my thoughts and points beforehand.

I agree, but I don't see her eating that stuff. It's for my kids. Yes cut veggies, hummus, nuts, fruit, etc all good stuff. That's what she eats. I know it sounds odd... It is bro. She eats healthier than I do most times. As far as I know of course.

We usually do it together, and though we get some stuff for the kids in the way of snacks, it's nothing overboard. I think it is a combination of things. Diet and lack of proper exercise.

Thanks man. That's why I'm here. I need advice on how to handle the situation. I'd love to say I have all of the answers, but I would be lying :)

I can lift her, just carry her anywhere. She's over 200 right now. Fuck me, that hurts just typing that shit out. Edit... Just can't carry her....

I have not failed that shit test, and I have been upfront and honest with her about the weight. From attraction and health points of views.

I get the feeling she does. She has definitely seen the ioi's I get from women, and it has driven her at times to push herself. Just with no results.

I get it... Positive reinforcemt. Ultimately it was my fault, I got fat and lazy....but I have worked with her on diet, exercise schedule and she has seen no change. Not like a month either, we are talking 4-5 months.

I have the dark thing down... but unfortunately I got the short genes from my mom. I am 5' 11'' - my brothers and father all range from 6'1'' - 6'4'' .... lucky ungrateful bastards :)

Exactly how I feel - I like the last statement, and I agree... I have had too much beta and not enough alpha in my marriage.

I'm not going to lie and say, I have always respected myself. I didn't for a long time - woes me for having such a tough life. I won't be like that ever again. There is a saying, i think in Buddhism, "You define your own reality" I found recently, this is the case. When I turn BBB, my sex life takes a dive, but when I am on my game, sex is fantastic. Now its about consistency. Ross Jeffries has a good point about quieting the inner dialog - I have started recently with meditating and quieting th…

I am going to keep her... for now. I know TRP is about self improvement, so really I care about how I feel with these changes. If she still wants to ride along, she is welcome to.

We have started having excellent conversations... and as I mentioned, I seem to still have problems recognizing comfort tests. In this forum, it seems much easier to recognize and reply, but in real life... Thanks for the advice.
