I don’t know about your country, but here getting into clubs is cheap. Less than 10€ usually. I also go there sober, but I understand if you can’t enjoy it that way.

Works for me, but your smile needs to look not creepy. Just recently got a girl to approach me by doing this in a club, might not be so good elsewehere.

One lay in 20 approaches is pretty good already. And you probably exaggerated the number. You don’t have to go out just for the sake of cold approaching, do it while shopping or when you have to take care of other tasks. Edit: Work on your game, you’re probably making the girls feel bored, which isn’t good. Everyone has their own style, whether it’s the funny guy or the super stoic barbarian male, find your own.

I recently quit drinking and I still enjoy spending time at clubs. People will ask why so either order something that looks like a drink or tell them you’re pregnant and can’t drink. You can drink a couple of beers too if you want, it’s not going to affect your gains in any way.

Firstly, I’m not undermining (what’s the correct word?) the fact that you lost a toe. You’re gonna be wearing socks or shoes most of the time anyway? If someone sees it and comments on it, whether it’s in a public setting or a girl in your bed, just own it. ”I was wrestling a bear and that motherfucker bit it off.”

If you’re really that tight on money try to save it up by cutting from other unnecessary expenses. Obviously only pay for your own meal/ticket. It doesn’t cost much to get an ice cream or a coffee. I personally go clubbing alot even though I quit drinking alcohol. I can usually get in for free and just order water. Of course there are free options like taking a walk in the park or biking to some place with a nice view. Yeah, those might be boring date ideas, but it’s your job to be interesting e…

Not the right sub for this. Controversial subject. Read Eckhart Tolle, check out r/awakened. I also think there’s a deeper meaning to life and all that mumbojumbo, but everything you read online should be taken with a grain of salt.

Why can’t you go out without spending money?

Look, this advice applies to everything so listen up readers. Mental block. You are the only person who can change what happens in your life, you choose how to experience things. Whether it be something you started, or an event that came up and you reacted to it in some way. It's just a thing that clicks. It's all in your head. For some people this realization comes naturally, most need guidance (reading comments like this) and others still don't get it after being told a hundred times. What's t…

Don’t get an expensive car, it’s much better to have money instead of a 4-wheeled egobooster. Especially since you have to ask here about what car to get. Invest your money or spend it on something useful.

Great post, after discovering the sub my approaches have skyrocketed. Only talked to girls who came up to me and was oblivious to their interest. I was never afraid to approach. I just didn’t do it, which I’m very upset about, since I missed a few years worth of opportunies. Good thing I still have alot of them ahead of me. All my closes are k-closes or number closes so far. Just haven’t been able to get the f-close yet. Last week I was making out with a girl for 20 minutes near my apartment, wa…

No. Humans would be extinct if muscle loss was that rapid. You have nothing to be afraid of.

Because then it will make them comply out of fear. Sure, go ahead and beat up your friends and girlfriends when they act up, but if you enjoy relationships like that, you have a mental disorder.

It’s a common debate to which I don’t know a definite answer. In my personal experience I’ve lost almost 30 pounds in the past 5 months, while my lifts have gotten better. Getting very close to defined abs. Planning to slowly bulk after this to gain the optimal amount of muscle.

Check out r/fitness sidebar. If you want to gain weight you’ll need to eat at a small surplus. Simple in theory, but you’ll need to do some counting. I suggest sailrabbit.com for finding out your approx. TDEE and myfitnesspal app for calorie counting.

Now that I’ve given some thought to it I guess there are no big downsides, except maybe a bit of awkwardness in class if the girls like to start drama.

Makes sense. I was taking it too seriously when it’s constantly spammed throughout the sub. I’ll definitely go for escalating next time.

Good question. Most importantly you shouldn’t let it become a group in the first place. If you planned a date with her, keep it 1 on 1. If she invites others behind your back, act cool, but make sure to let her know you don’t appreciate that kind of behavior. As for dealing with a group, it comes with experience like everything else in life. A few pointers that I could think of; Introduce yourself to everyone, make sure they remember your name and you theirs. Actually listen to the conversation.…

Long distance doesn’t work. I’m not the typical asktrp guy answering NEXT to every question, but sometimes you gotta let go.

How can we tell if it was good? Did you get her number? Did you just awkwardly ask her where the closest cigarette shop is and run away?

I went to the cinema and asked the cashier: ”Can I get two tickets to movie x.” - Good movie. What are you asking dude? What did you talk about after your first line and did you close? Is this sub a kindergarten or what?

Mainly used it as an expression. But now that I think about it, yeah, I still would. I'm not the "YOLO" kind of guy though, I don't believe that there is just nothingness after you die, so atleast consciously I'm not afraid of death.

New information is always good. If you take everything in with scepticism. Then, through your own experiences, which validate the things you've read, you'll know if it was legitimate. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.

You learned a valuable lesson. There aren’t really people who you can wholeheartedly trust, it’s human nature. I have three close friends who I’ve known for a long, long time. I would trust my life with them in the blink of an eye. But even they can babble a secret. You showed a woman vulnerability. She grew up hearing and sharing gossip. She’s dying to share the information with someone. In the future be non-reactive and own up to your mistake. Definitely don’t get mad, just show that you DGAF.…

Don’t get caught up in ’this style vs that style’ debates, especially online. Just look up all the gyms in your area, preferably go to them and ask about stuff, and do some research about the arts. I heard there are McDojo’s in the States (basically takes little time to get a black belt, and it costs a hefty amount) so if you come across someone who has a black belt in less than 5 years, be very suspicious. That being said traditional martial arts might be boring, if you lack the discipline, mos…

Not everything is a shit test. Anyone that reads this, stop asking these pointless questions and answer with the best line that you can come up with. Even better, answer without thinking and learn from your mistakes.

Read some Eckhart Tolle if you feel like your life lacks true meaning. Be careful with spiritual subjects though, take the information in carefully and don’t get sucked into the moneymaking mumbojumbo (Which one could argue even the author I recommended is, but oh well)

If you get atleast the recommended amount (0.8 - 1 g/lb bodyweight) of protein a day, it won’t matter what foods you use to fill up the rest of your calorie goal. Obviously it’s not the healthy option, but it gets the job done cheap. I vote for rice though.

Do any martial art you enjoy. Spend a few days of studying the ones that are available in your area, just scroll through the internet and watch some videos, then pick one. Boxing is great too if you want to do it. If you end up practicing for 10+ years you might realize that it was never about this style vs that style, which is usually what the debates online boil to.

I understand your nervousness very well. You have to realize this is your only chance with her though, next time she comes over. Go get a killer workout before, do any routine that previously helped you before in stressful situations. You’re the man, take control.

Just have conversations more often. It will develop over time like any other skill. Constant awareness and focus help accelerate the process.

I need to elaborate. In my language there are words for ”friend” and a ”true friend” (hard to translate). You will never get a true friend out of any girl, someone who actually cares about your problems, helps you when you’re at your worst. Kinda off topic already. Yeah, you can be her buddy or brother-like man, but soon she will see you as another beta and try to reap the benefits. That’s why I didn’t want you to waste time. If you can use her to advance your career, great. Don’t expect anythin…

Create tension: Solid eye-contact, move slowly and confidently, put your arm around her and raise your other hand on her cheek, or brush her hair back. Whatever works for you, don’t overcomplicate.

If it’s beneficial for your career, sure I guess. You still wanna fuck her brains out and she’s attracted to you or wants an orbiter/BB. Don’t waste any resources on her. I personally don’t believe that opposite sexes can be friends.

Your first note: ”I think this was okay” should have been your answer to the question and then escalate. Don’t engage in such long and meaningless shit over text.

Next time you talk to her, in person, confidently ask her out with the implication that it’s a date, not a friendly get-together. If she rejects, move on. Atleast you’re not wasting you’re time. Small chance that she’ll be more interested later.
