Stop stalling and get the divorce going. You are just causing yourself pain and anxiety trying to hold on to something that does not exist. She has left the marriage and is only with you currently because of finances. It is time to start protecting yourself in the coming divorce. Otherwise, she is going to destroy you. Stop holding on to the image you have of her and realize that person no longer exist. If and when she can figure out a way to maximize her leverage in the divorce she will.

Glad to hear you were able to get a fair deal. Curious, is she still with AP?

You get a lawyer and follow their instructions. You are getting divorced, why would you co-sign a loan. You are trying to untangle your lives. This will only further complicate things financially.

That is the truth. Somebody will give her “advice” and he will find himself in a costly legal battle.

Get a lawyer and have them handle it. Explain what you want and have them fight for that.

Talk to a lawyer. Follow the directions they give you. Get a DNA test.

Just ignore her. The divorce is final, her issues are no longer your problem.

He seems so shallow and self-centered. I assume from his post that he has aged gracefully.

Good luck with the divorce. Best revenge is to get the best financial deal you can during the divorce. It is also to get the custody agreement you want. Get yourself a shark lawyer and show no mercy.

If you go online, you’ll see lots of stories about women like her. They give up their marriage and their families, thinking that they are going to experience the life like when they were in their early 20s. She may think that she is something special. But to be brutally honest, she’s 40 years old with five kids. It’s going to be hard to find someone looking for a long-term relationship with her. Once the divorce is settled watch as the AP burns through her money.

She is in for a world of hurt when reality sets in. You can’t support the family she has working at Wendy’s. The best you can do is let her go and crash/ burn. I find it interesting that a 25-year-old is going to be looking for a long term relationship with a 40-year-old with 5 kids. Make sure you pull up a chair and the popcorn when it finally starts blowing up.

That is an incredible percentage. I understand it is from cases in which paternity is disputed. But still that percentage astounds me.

We have all been in new places and looking for familiar faces. It is normal if she knows very few people.

She is trying to make you jealous. Use a co-parenting app. The more you and her interact, even if it is just a quick reply to her emails the more you are feeding into her issues. Life did not turn out like she expected after the divorce and she is trying to keep you in her orbit.

In 2 weeks you are done. After that go NC. Let her live the life she deserves, while you start your new one.

I was meeting my college age children at a restaurant for lunch near where I work. She worked near where I did. She shows up with him for lunch. We introduced ourselves to him. She just started crying and he left. I guess he felt she was not worth the trouble. His wife ended up feeling the same about him after she found out.

You’re trying to use logic to explain her actions. She is running on pure motion. She does not care if she destroys herself as long as she damages you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
